Everglades House — Attraction in Fort Lauderdale

Mid-Century Modern building with a fabulous view of all the cruise ships and yachts entering or leaving Port Everglades. This is one of Architect, Charles McKirahan's, masterpieces.built in 1959. It's always a treat to invite family and friends over to watch the Cruise ships leave the Port on Saturday and Sunday late afternoons. Passengers line the decks and wave as they leave the port on an exploration of this incredible part of the world. Captain's often respond to our greetings blowing their horns in return of our air horns. Everglades House has a beautiful pool deck and BBQ area, Exercise room and all the amenities of a Beach Resort.
