Let me start off w/ the only 2 positive things: the location & the rooms are nice, bright, and I will get further into details, ok, but actually not nice when speaking about the view... especially if taking into consideration that the entire place - especially the 2nd pool is under major construction and the noise not just during the week from construction can be quite frustrating, esp. If ur room (like mine) faces the construction, even more disturbing: this incredible loud banging noise right above my room - other tenants must have heard it too - as if a herd of bulls are trampling & running back & forth, banging, etc. ... I guess it was a group of playing teenagers - a handful of boys playing so roughly and loud, probably wrestling, definitely screaming into the late hours of the night, without consideration to others. At times, it was so unbearably loud and scary you would think they are trying to kill someone up there. Unbelievable. The concept of a mostly staffless hotel does not work here at all, in a frequent visited beach area, high volume of turnover guests, who expect some type of personalized service, starting with parking / valet parking and how often did I observe many, wondering guests, with unanswered questions in their eyes and jealously glancing over across the street to the Best Western Plus hotel, their main priority to arriving and leaving guests, valet and regular staff constantly helping ARRIVING AND LEAVING GUESTS, and everyone in between, answering all kind of questions but here st the Deco Boutique Hotel - as a guest u feel left sanding in the rain, starting with check in.... room door locks are often not easy to understand how to work, unsecured construction areas and unkept outdoor areas... this place could be wayyyyy more upscale but all these issues (I will explain more below) would make me come never ever back here. Questions can mostly only be asked thru online chat, Still didn't figure that out and honestly I would like to address someone in person not thru chat where someone gets back to you in 24 to 48 hrs. How inconvenient. I need my issues addressed now. So I didn't even bother to let em know about the annoying construction noise (which they won't be able to do anything about it but a room NOT directly facing it would have been a first step, or my clogged toilet,Towels accessible in the locked lobby were always out or down to 1 maybe...frustrating if you would like a shower after a long day and there are none or not enough....breakfast not inlcuded....and only the very first day, there was hot coffee available in the "lobby" (cramped room with a desk, if occupied by staff from 9am to 3pm as advertised- you are lucky... usually no one there... And I only rated the rooms with 3 stars because the room itself was nice, with cold AC, table, sink, microwave, little fridge and bright colors but as said before, the view, the noise- more from upstairs than from construction noise outdoors - my gosh, I mean seriously, that upstairs noise was so frightening at times, I cannot image that other guests didn't complain as well. I shrugged so bad sometimes, such a loud noise, I swear, you would think there is a full- blown wrestling match live and in action going on there and someone or several people definitely just got badly hurt. Wow. Never ever did I experience that - over days and nights, til 4.30am sometimes.. I am speechless that no one intervened or said anything. Well, I know why, cause it's so difficult to contact some stranger thru chat online who isn't even on site, but simply a booking agent or some travel agent trying to sell you a trip rather than addressing immanent issues on site. I am tired and not well rested, still scared by some of those brutal noises, and their outdoor amenities are uninviting (sitting areas are soaked from rain, dirty & leaves everywhere) ... no thanks. It's not like they are so much more affordable than other hotels around there. Save your money and avoid this place under any circumstances. Even room cleaning costs extra, $30 per...

Hello Ms. “Small Business Owner” HERE IS THE REVIEW YOU DIDN’T WANT ME TO WRITE! Let me start by saying this USED to be my favorite hotel to stay for a nice staycation in Fort Lauderdale, but NOT ANYMORE! I first stayed here in 2019, then again in 2020, this time again in 2024. Let me start by saying they made it impossible for me to cancel, or reschedule because unfortunately I booked a nonrefundable stay but Booking.com makes a way that you can be able to reschedule or cancel, which will be up to the property decision and of course they declined. I tried to cancel because unfortunately I blindly booked thinking I was walking into the same hotel I did in 2020, but unfortunately looking at a few reviews I noticed they have fell down in quality. The owner ensured me that their rooms are free of mold, but just as other reviews online stated they sure do have BUGS, YES BUGS! Bugs were found in the bathroom, in the kitchen, & believe it or not, there were two huge dead roaches that welcomed me before anyone else could. LOL! I am sure there is a infestation somewhere because there would be small baby roaches that would pop out of nowhere everytime I warm up food or open the trash drawer.

The stay here was complete HELL! I tried my best to make the best of it to not waste money, but honestly I ended up checking out at 6AM on my departure just to get away from that hell hole. The rooms are NOISY I could not sleep AT ALL! I could literally hear everything the upstairs neighbors were doing & to make matters worse, me going up and telling them to keep it down they didn’t care, alongside the owner everytime I would tell them & they refused to change my room. By the second to last day, I asked the owner to please give me a refund for the rest of my stay and the remainder of my parking balance after expressing my disgruntlement because I have had enough with the noise, parking, and seeing bugs etc. She was willing to but said I won’t get a refund until she sells the room again, but wanting me out before I could get a refund. Like SERIOUSLY?! What makes matter worse she said she doesn’t want me to write a review because they were a “small business.” Like lady give me a break, your reviews online are already terrible. With me declining that request SHE HUNG UP 😂 Like how professional 😂 I didn’t get the refund so I hope they take the money & fix the issue with the place. Another thing, the parking SUCKS! They want you to spend $20 a day but only got about 15 parking spots for over 60 rooms. So if you come a certain time of night you are out of luck. What a joke!

It sucks that I have recommended this hotel to so many people & have stayed her multiple times, and it is turning into this. There is honestly so much more wrong with this place, but the review is already long. I will add I wouldn’t be surprised if soon they are under new ownership. I see why they are a two star hotel now. SO PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS ONLINE AND...

I stayed at the hotel for a couple weeks and it went well until it didn’t… There was constant construction so we couldn’t get a good nights rest. If you are sleeping upstairs, you wont sleep. The rooms straight up smell weird. My bathroom always smelled like mold but I didn’t notice any until it grew on the toilet paper and all over the grout in the shower. Just yesterday my friend and I returned to the hotel, and the bathroom was flooded with water. The water was flooding out of the bathroom and into our room. The sink had brown flakes (definitely sewage water) and stained the towels yellow. We didn’t know what happened. Under the sink is where we kept our toiletries, so we opened the drawer and our makeup and products were soaking wet & ruined. It smelled awful. My expensive makeup and products had to be thrown away. We had to wait until morning to contact the front deck. They gave us a new room and told us they would contact maintenance. They said there wasn’t anything they could do about damaged property only damaged done to our body. I would say contaminated fecal matter puts us at risk. We came back to our room after talking with the manager, and the sink was overfilling with brown/ yellow water. The water was coming up from the drain, and was leaking all over the bathroom. The drawers where our toiletries were stored was filled to the brim with the nasty water. We went back to the front desk and showed them a video, and they gave us their number so we could send them the video. They didn’t come by the room or anything to check it out. I am extremely stressed out by this hotel. Deco Boutique hotel or At Mine hotel is not worth the time,...

Welcome to the Cockroach Motel. This place is filled with cockroaches. I had to kill the biggest cockroach I had ever seen. The place had an overwhelming smell of mold/mildew. There was no hot water in the shower, and I mean none at all. The place was not as advertised as in the picture and the pictures of the bathroom in the listing were of a completely different room altogether. The photos that were in the advertisement were photoshopped to have things that were there like the ceiling fan, which was replaced with a light from the 1980's. Tables and chairs were also photoshopped in, and I also believe the bed frame was photoshopped in. The only good thing about this place is when you decide to leave, it's only a short walk across the street to the Marriott. Host stopped responding to me when I confronted them about the deplorable conditions and refused to give me a refund.
