A Hidden Gem for Sports & Family Fun – Mills Pond

Mills Pond is hands down one of the best recreational spots in all of South Florida. Whether you’re into baseball, softball, soccer, or just looking for a beautiful place to enjoy the outdoors, this park delivers on every level.

The fields are well-maintained, the lighting is top-notch for evening games, and there’s a real sense of community here. I’ve attended several tournaments and league games at Mills Pond, and every time, the staff has been organized, friendly, and helpful.

Beyond sports, the park itself is clean, spacious, and safe. There’s ample parking, plenty of shaded areas, and even a playground and walking trails for families not participating in the sports events.

Whether you’re a serious athlete, a weekend warrior, or a parent looking for a great place for your kids to play and compete, Mills Pond checks every box.

Fort Lauderdale is lucky to have it — highly...

Me and my family went to this park for an after pass and we where having fun at first we had our service animal with us but when we started to play flag football some of our family let us know that two of the little girls with us was at the park and a child went and told their parents that the little girls with us pushed her but since one of the adults from our side was there watching them and saw the little girl go up to the swing see two of our kids and go back to her daddy and tell him they pushed her then he proceeded to approach little children about what happened when the adult with them set the record straight then out of anger he called the park ranger on our dog who the said are dog had to go despite park rules saying he...

People around the community need to be aware of when the park hosts events. They allow people to park on the roads, grass, DRIVEWAYS OF PEOPLES HOMES, and they do not enforce any parking restrictions. At the same time, they want to set limitations on field usage to members of the area but won’t respect other people property. Horrible idea to host an event so close to the neighborhoods knowing it may bother the residents. Plus the shows hosted are so trash, the music is garbage, the bands are garbage, the singers can never actually sing, and the park rangers do nothing to protect the...

Sadly if you try to play soccer and they have the field rent it even if they only use half they don't let you play on the other half is very sad the space is empty and just because they don't feel like it they kick you out will be great if this changes for the sake of the youth i leave a pic of how empty it is and still they don't let us play

Nice and quiet park. Went to take pictures and videos of my cars and it was really abundant with people and places to take pictures and videos. Recommended if you wanna be far from people while enjoying outdoors with loved ones and want privacy.

Thought I was seeing birds at first. Nope, just trash. Lots of trash everywhere. Sad that human s have to ruin everything beautiful in nature and can’t even use the multiple trash cans everywhere.
