The Food was excellent. This was our first time having Haitian Cuisine - but for context we are Jamaican and Ghanaian so we understand what good seasoning and flavor. First off there is no printed menu, this to me says you’re going to get what’s fresh today. The lady at the front was very helpful. We told her this is our first time and asked for her recommendation. She suggested the the Fried Goat, Black Rice, and the fish (she recommended boiled - which is steamed fish in Jamaica). And we said yes!

The goat was my favorite. Boiled first, then fried and well seasoned was how she explained it. And surely she was right. It was beyond flavorful. She suggested we have it as a side and it came with fried green plantain (tostones styled) which was perfect with the goat. And also a salad.

The boiled fish was also delicious and a very close second. A different experience and absolutely excellent. Highly recommend.

The black rice is a must. Very delicious.

We took our meal to go. I don’t think this is a sit down spot although they did have a small counter and stools so we could have eaten our food there also.

If you’re in Fort Lauderdale you must try Haitian Food and this place is a good place to start. I would recommend that you call in your order as they do make the food fresh and you will wait. We waited around 30 minutes. But well...

We checked this place out during our visit to Ft. Lauderdale for the Seminole powwow and I was not disappointed at all!

My husband had the legume and djonjon (black rice with mushrooms), my son had chicken wings and plantains, and I had white rice with sos pwa (black bean sauce). I am not usually a fan of restaurant Haitian food, but this was AMAZING, even down to the flavor of the plaintains. The only thing I didn't like was the barbecue sauce on the wings, but my 5-year-old ate it all.

They don't have printed menus or one visible, but so you should have an idea of what you want before you go. Also, they don't have all items listed on their website, but it's a good place to look in advance.

Our cashier was super helpful, patient, and friendly in helping us place our order. It was a bit of a wait after we ordered, but we expected it and know it was fresh. I recommend calling in your order ahead of time.

The building looks a bit rundown and there were some possibly homeless guys nearby, but it wasn't a deterrent. Note that the hours on their door say they're closed Sunday, but they are open!

I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for authentic Haitian food in the area and can't wait to...

It was my first time coming to this restaurant. I was on my way to work and was so hungry and I asked siri to take me to the top rated haitian restaurant in Broward. It happens to bring here to the Labelle haitian restaurant. For me customer service is a must and I definitely received that at the Labelle haitian restaurant. I got to meet the owner of the restaurant he was so nice and very professional. I order the gabrit tasso with fried plantain. I also ordered a side of Black rice. This nice young men by the name of Clay who came and introduce himself. He had me tast the white rice with brown beans sauce verse the black rice. As you all know everyone loves the black rice, but the white rice and the bean sauce was so delicious so I left the black rice and took the white rice and beans. The atmosphere was really nice and the people there are nice and welcoming. So if you are in Fort lauderdale stop by Labelle haitian restaurant and try out the amazing food. I'm glad my GPS brought me here. No regret people. Come and enjoy the taste of this carribean food. The young lady who was at the cash registered was very nice and professional. So I give this...

I was across the street and notice this restaurant and having had z Haitian food many times, I decided to check it out. I alked in and was immediately met with a polite and friendly greeting Including a breakdown of the menu in the lunch specials. Although they seemed relatively busy, my food was out in less than 15 minutes and everything was delicious! I ordered the griot platter which consisted of fried pork(cooked perfectly), fried green plantains, black rice, a small fresh salad and on the pork there was some spicy onions. I also received a small container with a rich and tasty gravy and a small container with spicy haitian pickliz. If you know then you know how important those 2 small containers are to complete the meal. The gentleman at the counter was professional but very personable and everything on my plate(I couldn't finish it in one sitting) was perfect. Def worth the stop. I'll be back. (Rice not pictured)
