Enrika was an amazing salesman and the highlight of my experience because everything else was terrible. Me and my wife bought a chase with 2 seats like a small sectional and an autumn with a monkey rug that your feet sunk into. amazing looking set but in 2 weeks had to call the service person out because the cushions were sinking in and the back of it was very loose like it wasn’t pulled tight when it was stitched. Anyway they replace the couch with a new set which with in a month was doing the same thing. Now we decided to return it this time and rooms to go said we could exchange it. we picked out another set that was 300 more so ok I hand them my rooms to go credit card that had a usable balance of 5000 out of 7500 left on it . The sales person returned with my card and said my credit limit had been reduced to 200 dollars. when i walked up to the counter to find out why I was told that the expects you to spend it all at once and it was reduced in order to provide other people credit. Me and my wife wanted to get the couch and rug 1st and then later on make our decisions for the rest of the living room which now we are unable to do unless we pay cash. we had to pay cash for the difference on the exchange. This time we picked out a leather powered couch that they said wouldn’t be available for 45 days then they call 3 days later tell me i can have it next week we agreed ok great. The day after the delivery we noticed the stitching coming apart on one seat and it was nowhere as firm as the other 2 seats also the leather was wrinkled like used on the same seat. Had the service technician here today who agreed the one seat looked used so now that seat is getting replaced. My wife said when it was delivered that seat they had to install the top half and the other 2 seats were already whole and wrapped. It seems like there pawning off all the defective furniture on anyone who might not notice or call All the pics i see in the other reviews are taken at the store lol that might not be what you get delivered and rooms to go don’t care about the costumers only the money they should have ate the 300 i had to spend in cash after all the trouble with 2 brand new sets in a 2 month period but not not a dime just had me dig deeper in my own pockets after...
Read moreHad a Very DISSAPOINTING EXPERIENCE today with a Associate by the name ALEX in Rooms to Go of Fort Myers, my wife and I had gone in to purchase some furniture and were greeted with a Associate named William who was a refreshing experience, we chose to purchase a l Living room set, Dinning room set, New pillows and so on. Through a miscommunication i requested to speak to a manager to help me out William gets a Associate by the name Alex who jumped in to attend my needs, when I introduced the situation he didn't seem happy with my request, and became very challenging, instead of just saying im sorry I couldn't help you, He flung his lap top to the side and said to me, we're to big of a company to worry over your pennies...you have a imagination problem as he walked away from me..I stopped him and said you should show respect to your consumers and watch how you speak to me, he smirked and laughingly said in Spanish..I dont have time for your issues..I then charged to where the crowd of associates gathered and asked everyone who the Generalmanager was and nobody answered me, ALE. with a grin on his face spoke out loud and said infront of all the associates and said..tell him...tell him Im the Manager here, thats when a middle aged Associate with glasses pointed me to the assistant manager, who heard my situation and called the General Manager who took care of my needs...this was a Horrific experience my wife was so offended that she walked out the store when we were disrespected, undermined and demeaned by this Unprofesional, Sarcastic and inhumane Associate named Alex, we have shopped in Rooms to Go for the last 8 years and this was the worst I have ever been through in any store I've visited in my 57 years living in this community, if a district manager could get in contact with me I would appreciate it. I still ended up spending $4.000 but the experience...
Read moreWhere do I start? We have had two different sales people that aren’t responsive. EVERY single piece of furniture we have gotten has either been defective or had damage to it when it arrived. This last time, someone in customer service approved us to do a 2nd reselection. So we went into the store. First, the sales man was asking questions about the previous couches, which was not pertinent, as customer service had all that information. We just wanted to reselect and leave. He wanted to speak with the manager Jorge, who came out to explain the process. First they tell us that new selections have to be equal or greater to the price of the couches (minus warranty and taxes). Anything over will be will be our cost approximately $80-100). Understood, but then that turned into “you’ll owe $300” then that turned into the total price just needs to be equal or more to the total price. So we FINALLY made our reselection, paid the difference, got our receipt and left. The next day, the manager Jorge calls and says…”We’re going to do something different. Instead of the reselection, we’re going to just refund you your money back from the original purchase.” Basically saying they did not want to do business with us anymore. Yes, we have had to complain about every delivery / redelivery, but HELLO we are paying a lot of money and do have the extended warranty, so yes, we expect to have our furniture delivered in perfect condition. We do not expect for the leather to get bad wrinkles in less than a year. The first time, less than 2 months. I don’t care if I wanted to reselect 10 times, I expect my furniture that I spend good money on to be good material, something that will last. I cannot stress enough that they DO NOT put customer service and satisfaction first. That is fine, they are not the only furniture store around. Good riddance...
