I was a first thing customer. The Bistro Lo Mein was delicious and the General Tso’s chicken were also good. Now don’t recommend the Bistro fried rice and the ribs . The waitress came over to ask how was everything and I let her know that the ribs wasn’t tender, and that the fried rice didn’t have any taste to it. She basically looked at me and walked off still charge me for something that was barely eaten and then told me well it wasn’t my fault I did my job never once told the waitress that she did not do her job that was not my complaint that was not even a concern informed the young lady I never said these things to you I’m informing you about the food that we did not taste tasteful . Never was told that they didn’t food back . The waitress tried to make me feel that it was my fault. I believe whenever a customer comes into your establishment you should let them know that you don’t take food back. And she could have offered would like something else instead . To accommodate the customer. I will not ever go back because that fact that she said it’s not her fault and tried to make me feel it was my fault “ your Oder it so your stuck with the bill” I have NEVER IN my entire life encounter such rudeness when it comes to some food. I truly understand that you’re running a business but at the same time you explain to the customer that you do not do returns or you are basically stuck with the bill whatever you order to be explain to the customer so they know why OK upfront well whatever order if I don’t like it. I’m still stuck with it. Because basically they’re not gonna accommodate you. If something is not tasteful. I really wanted to go in there and knock over everything in that place. I’m very disappointed and upset at the fact that I was treated with disrespect. I thank God my mother raised me better than that . I give the two items that I stated was good . I the other food 0 No taste for the rice , for the ribs dry and tough. Not tender at all.

Ginger Bistro has been a round for a bit now. I don't even think I was writing reviews the first time we went. I can tell you though, that the first time we went, it was awful. But, they had just started and they only had an idea of what they wanted to be as a restaurant. After overhearing that the owners changed (a bit ago) we decided to come back and try their food, at the behest of a friend of course. So we did. Dim Sum! A dish that originated in the Cantonese culture in China has finally made its way here and in a perfect state. These dumplings actually have 1,000 different types and after coming here, I wish I could try them all. Soup dumplings to steam buns, wheat dumplings to rice noodle rolls. No Ginger Bistro doesn't carry them all but who would? Instead, their selection is a 'top favorites' type list and I suggest you try them all. (Not all at once though) The entree Really good! They had some issues because I wanted duck but they didn't have it. They said we could wait 45 minutes BUT it wasn't worth it. So we got orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken. My wife got a steaming plate of short ribs and we loved our meals. The cons Single serve drinks. I mean, a can of sprite? Keeping costs low, I get it. If I want a refill, then I'll have to buy another one but fountain drinks have been around since forever so switch please! No duck. Though I was looking forward to it, it wasn't a big deal. Maybe next time. But I know why your here, it's not to read this review, but to look at the pictures, haha. So here you go. [EDIT] We had to come back for the duck so as of 1/9, we still like the place. Here are more photos

TERRIBLE! And this is NOT my first time at this restaurant. While the food is always flavorful and fresh the employees are not friendly, not welcoming AT ALL, and down right ignorant attitude. Last night I ordered Curry Bean Curd Beef Flank Clay Pot beef flank, potato, carrots, and onion, in our house famous curry sauce, this is exactly what the description is on the menu. Got the dish and WOW! FULL of tofu (NO mention of tofu on the menu, I like tofu but did not want tofu last night or exoect it in this dish!!!!), red and green peppers (I am not able to eat peppers, again NO MENTION of peppers in menue description!!!) TWO tiny bites of potato, Aaaaaaand the worst part was there was ZERO flank steak! It was loaded with chunks of some kind of FAT and grizzle, beige strips of rubbery membrane that WAS NOT neef in any form! See the picture below I took, I picked out a pile of this fatty membrane they argued was beef flank! I am a very good cook and work with flank steak all the time and flank steak IS NOT loaded with fat! I WILL be filing a Better Business complaint. They offered me another dish but I wasn't intrested in eating after the fiasco and HOW could I trust they wouldn't do something nasty to my food, I didn't ask for them to not charge me but they sure did make that clear they would not! We'll see what the Better Business Bureau has to say about THAT!!

This is your run of the mill, typical dim sum place that also offers the usual Chinese food. The wait was pretty long to be seated at a table. Service was great until you have a dispute with them. Unfortunately they don’t leave a copy of the dim sum dishes you order (in our case 15 total dishes), and we received a wrong dish and was missing a dish. When asking about their error, the waitress tried to charge for the 1 item we had accidentally ate on a dish that wasn’t what we ordered. (KEEP A COPY OF WHAT YOU ORDERED!) Otherwise than that, the food was alright. Typical dim sum portions are usually about 3-4 items per bowl depending on the food. In this case, most of it was 3 but the sizes were pretty small. Particularly the famous and well known soup, shrimp and beef dumplings/shumais all had very sticky and almost dried out skins that tasted like it was sitting out for a while. This is probably the result of them bringing every dim sum dish out at once instead of preparing each one on a cart when ready. The Korean pancakes were unfortunately a disappointment and tasted way more like “nian gao” which has a very sticky rice cake texture to it, instead of tasting a thicker or even crispier dough to it. Ginger Bistro wouldn’t be too bad if you’ve never had dim sum before, but I wouldn’t come regularly.

Tried this place for the first time as it was recommended to me by a coworker. As soon as my sister and I walk into the door I could feel an unwelcoming presence. Our waitress was very distant and didn’t explain much about the menu. The whole time I could feel the eyes of 3 waitresses staring us down and talking amongst themselves in their native language. At first I was thinking I was just paranoid as it is my first time there but my entire stay I could feel nothing but the eyes of the staff on me. The food was mediocre at best. The guy who dropped off our food was very nice (a hispanic gentleman). Our shrimp had a weird black plastic circle on it which I did take a picture of but did not complain as I do not believe in making a fuss about what could have been a minor mistake. A different waitress saw me take the picture and immediately rushed to tell our waitress about what I did. We did not complain nor were we rude to the wait staff. I will say I did stare a waitress down as she was looking directly at me which made me uncomfortable. We took the rest of our food to go, paid then left. I’m sure this place is probably great but this was just my experience. I will not be returning.

This is my second time at a Ginger Bistro and both times I enjoyed the experience. The food was excellent I went for the soup dumplings, bbq Pork Belly and Roti with curry sauce and washed it down with a passion fruit tea. It was so so good. The waitress was very patient with us when we were undecisive. I asked her about a certain dish and she gave me her honest opinion. Definitely worth the drive since I live 2 hours away.
