Creekmore Park — Attraction in Fort Smith

This is my favorite park in Fort smith. I have been going there since I was little, then later in life enjoyed taking my own 3 children. I now enjoy taking my grandson and am awaiting being able to take my granddaughter when she is big enough. I love all the play equipment. Also I love the rooms that can be rented. I have had over 40 parties from birthday to baby shower parties. The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. I will continue to rent rooms for parties for years to come. In the summer months we have had numerous parties outside in the gazebo area so that the kids can play and we can still keep an eye out on them and enjoy being outside. We also have made it an family tradition to go every year for the lighting of the park for Christmas and ride the train. Many years we go and rode the train several times. This is something that we have enjoyed not only with myself, wife kids and grandson but now with my brother his wife and their 3 kids. And now her family from California. We all enjoy this. We also love the trail and walk the trail many times a year. I also love the swimming pool. Though it can be packed it just makes it better for me. Shows just how amazing of a place that it is. It's always clean and the staff/ lifeguards are all very friendly and helpful. I would recommend anyone who is here to visit anytime if year to check out creekmore park. Also the movies in the park. There is so much to list. I can not wait to pass these traditions on to all my future grandkids and so on. Keep up the amazing...

The Park itself was fantastic, lots of people there, lots of children playing on the playground equipment too. Several parties were going on in different areas too.

Only complaint I have was the Lack of Cleanliness in the Bathroom. It was disgusting to say the least. Outside door was extremely heavy to push open using my walker. The floor was littered with paper towels, and there wasn't any toilet paper in the Handicapped Stall.

I always carry tissues so... that was covered but then I had great difficulty getting the stall door to open up to leave. Door is bigger than casing & it stuck hard. I was afraid I was gonna have to call for assistance to get out.

Finally I got it released only to find the sink filthy with used wet paper towels in and hanging off the sink. I just went home to wash my hands.

I love taking walks here. There's nice tree-cover which is great during the summer. There's usually people out and about almost any time of the day you go, so it feels pretty safe too. The Christmas light display every year is something we always look forward to. The location is great; right across the street from the main library branch and a cafe with outdoor seating. There's plenty to do for everyone: a playground, train rides, miniature golf, swimming, tennis, basketball, grilling, picnic, walking, running, or just hanging out in a hammock under the trees.
