I'm kinda tired of being asked if I want shot. I frequent the Greenwood and Rogers avenue location, but I can't walk through the door without an older guy or now they have an employee sitting at a table near the front door as soon as you walk in, asking me if I want a shot. I'm not against vaccines, but this borderline harassment. The fact that they ask me every time I walk in shows that they're not even keeping track of who they ask. I'm pretty sure no means no. Again I'm not against vaccines. I just happen to get mine at my Dr. office, and I like to wait until later in the year. I'm sure some people, who are against vaccines, probably find this offensive. Also makes me think they are probably getting some kind of kick back for giving the vaccines, so that means they're not doing it because they care, they're doing it because they are being told too. All in all, I think people know what time of year it is and are plenty smart enough to figure out whether or not they want to the latest...
Read moreGood convenience store stop , but TERRIBLE pharmacy. I was in town for a wedding and had forgotten my antidepressant. Let me emphasize, it was an antidepressant that I forgot. Missing a dosage is not an option. I waited in line for 45 minutes. The tech was super helpful and friendly. He advised that it should not be a problem since my prescription was written âas needed.â Pharmacist denied my request for a single pill to get me through until I returned home the next day. She did not even bother to come explain her reasoning to me herself. She simply denied the request. As a PharmD, you would hope she had sense enough to understand the importance of not missing a dose of antidepressant and the low risk that it would be abused for recreational purposes. However, she either did not have said sense, or she did not care. I am not sure which is worse, but highly disappointed with my pharmacy experience here, especially for a company that prides itself on great pharmaceutical...
Read moreWill never use a Walgreens pharmacy again. Twice now I have had an incredibly unpleasant experience. First is when I had pleurisy. I get a text itâs ready. I go to fill my prescription, it takes another 3 hours before itâs actually filled pacing the store with painful breathing. Second is when I had bronchitis. The doctor sent the prescription. I call to make sure they have it. They say they do not. I call the doctor and ask if they can resend which they do. I call Walgreens again and they state they have it and it was delayed by their third party and theyâre writing it out now. Understandable. Two hours later itâs 30 minutes before close. I go through the drive thru where Iâm told they donât have it. I call my doctor again who tells me their system confirmed receipt. I call Walgreens for the third time where they tell me they only received it just then and it wouldnât be filled that day. Sticking to local places...
