You have to actually stop pull over and walk up to the door to see that yes there is a gentleman in there named Pete and he does cut hair. Definitely a small shop, only one chair in the place. Pete knows most of the locals, it was a local that referred me to go there. He was business like and got the haircut done quickly with no fuss. There are 4 shallow steps to climb (not sure if there is a ramp I didn't check the other side) and generous space around the statue so you don't feel like you are going to fall down the steps.
