Terrible service. Waited over an hour for food, then one plate finally came. We saw it being taken out of the microwave. When we kept waiting for the second plate, and it didn’t come despite several promises that it was on the way, we decided to leave. The cashier insisted that we pay for both plates even though we had waited well over an hour at that point and never received the second plate. What a disaster! We did not eat the first plate, either, because it looked like old reheated meat with a congealed sauce. Stay away, especially if you are just passing through...plenty of other locals seemed to get their food in the time we were waiting. There is not much open in this town on a Sunday, but there are a few other options. La Rosita Cafe in Fort Stockton was very Nice! The Service was EXCELLENT! My wife had the brisket burrito with red sauce and rice and enjoyed it very much! I had the soft taco and a flower shell with hamburger meat vegetables and it was just absolutely delightful! I also had a beef enchilada that was fantastic! All in all a wonderful visit! We’ll come to La Rosita Café again!

Le café La Rosita à Fort Stockton était très agréable ! Le service était excellent! Ma femme a eu le burrito de poitrine avec sauce rouge et riz et l'a beaucoup apprécié! La Rosita Cafe in Fort Stockton war sehr schön! Der Service war ausgezeichnet! Meine Frau hatte das Brisket Burrito mit roter Sauce und Reis und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Ich hatte den weichen Taco und eine Blumenschale mit Hamburgerfleischgemüse und es war einfach absolut köstlich! Ich hatte auch eine Rindfleisch-Enchilada, die fantastisch war! Alles in allem ein wunderschöner Besuch! Wir kommen wieder ins La Rosita Café!

I was initially not even welcomed into the place. My waitress was a bit curt. I ordered meduno. It was served with bread, not corn tortillas. I asked for tortillas, and then the waitress said it would be $5 additional! Wait, WHAT!? She then said something a bit assanine, "EVERYONE knows we serve it with bread." Let that sink in for a minute. I replied, "Apparently, not EVERYONE. " She eventually brought the tortillas: no charge. Menudo taste was delicious, but the meat was on the tougher chewy side rather than soft and tender like I am used to enjoying in other places.
Price was a little less than $20 for one person with a soft drink. BTW, I was one person. They served two other tables before me, although I got there first. Waitress error?
