I’ll start off with the good. The staff were all decent. And the Jet Ski/Boat rental right behind the hotel was really convenient, we had a great time with our Jet Ski rental. The breakfast was also pretty good, I wasn’t necessarily a fan but my husband did like it, it was hot and there were a decent amount of options. We did get upgraded to a Beach View room which was AMAZING, I loved seeing the sunrise in the mornings from our room! The beds were also very comfy! And now to the bad. I wish I could say this Hotel met all my needs, but unfortunately, it did not. At all. Our room was very dirty! Upon arrival we noticed that there was trash in the fridge and it was leaking, we also found that the mirror in the bathroom was broken and the curtains were ripped. My husband went and notified the front desk and were told the fridge leak would be taken care of the following day, however no one ever came. As the days progressed we noticed that all of our towels were dirty with stains!! And then we found that the cabinet that held the microwave had so much dirt underneath including a dead bug. The floors were also so dirty that our feet were black just from stepping out of the shower. Also, the hotel promotes that it is Beach Front but that couldn’t be more from the truth. There was water but it definitely wasn’t the beach, no waves, not the crystal clear water like most along the coast, either way you could barley access it because of the boat rentals. The pool also closed at 7PM which was absolutely bizarre to me. The curtains also made me very uncomfortable. There’s really not a lot to do in Fort Walton so given the quality of this hotel and location, just spend the extra $50-$100 and stay somewhere clean, nice, and convenient! The hotel did have a few nice things but the bad outweighs the good by A LOT! I just truly wouldn’t recommend this to anyone!

Meh. The only good thing is that it’s got a lil baby beach outside. There are pontoon and jet ski rentals through a different company out back. Breakfast was the same small handful of options each weak. The breakfast was the worst part. There is only one waffle maker in the whole building so you’ll have to wait in a line just to get one sometimes. The hotel staff started putting up breakfast 5 mins after time despite people still in line grabbing pre cooked foods. Why can’t you just wait until they’re done getting their unsalted eggs and rock hard biscuits before you put it up?? The room is fine. It’s got a “coffee maker.” It’s not good coffee though. It’s more like bean water. The WiFi was impossible to use on the tiny TV. You must connect to it through the TV settings despite the TV claiming you’re already connected, then you must connect to a new network on your phone (?) then and only then will the TV have WiFi. I doubt my grandparents could ever figure that out. The trash bags are despicable. You get two tiny bathroom trash cans with bags the size of a Walmart bag. For a whole week for us. The outside dumpster is just one can. Trash will pile up outside the door all week. Could’ve used more towels.

All in all, they are not a bad place, but not exactly what I was expecting. The beach they have is a small inlet beach, which is nice but no room for beach walking. The rooms are OK but needed more counter space. The min frige would not keep things even a little bit cool. The bathroom could use shelves in the shower, and water pressure could be better .Breakfast did last long at all. The wait in line was a long wait, and the food was gone before the line was, though. The pool was locked up every time I would have gotten in ( 7am or 7pm).

I am a Diamond Choice Rewards member with over 75 nights already this year and have enjoyed majority of my stays with choice hotels I have to give this hotel a bad rating sadly.

I had first called and spoken to the Night auditor with a few questions regarding their property and he was overwhelmingly nice and trying to convince me to book tonight to stay with them with offering what seemed like extremely good hospitality so eventually I booked a night there because it was a good location close to the beach and for what I was doing business purposes.

As a diamond member one of the perks I enjoy is early check-in and late checkout so the date of arrival when I called to request an early check-in the girl was not very accommodating and kept trying to give me the rates for the night and I already told her I had a reservation but wanted to check in early... Later when I arrived (Not Early-actually after normal check-in hours around 5 PM because of some things I had to do)...I requested a room upgrade to a Bayview (not even a Suite) which is also another benefit of being a dime and you get free upgrades of rooms the night girl basically was like pulling teeth to get her to finally give me a free upgrade after I had to argue with her about that was a benefit of being a diamond member because she was trying to charge me to upgrade my room.

After working most of the night and resting I decided to call and ask later in the evening if I could get a check out around 1:00 PM (another benefit of diamond membership is two hour late check out and I have even had three and four hour late checkouts at other hotels )... When I Call to request the late check out I spoke to the Mr. hospitable night auditor who tried to warn me into reserving the night in the first place and I was confronted with almost discussed or shocked that I requested a two hour check out and after I explain that again I am a diamond member he argued with me and said it is going to be Friday and we are going to be full in which I replied that does not matter to me because I’ve spent 75 nights this year already with Choice and I should have the ability to get my benefits plus obviously there were many other people checking out earlier if not early in the morning! After going back-and-forth a few minutes I asked him if I could at least get a 12 o’clock check out noon where he finally agreed to (which is standard no problem at any other hotel)!

I have to say that I am extremely glad of the experiences I’ve had a majority of the other choice hotels I’ve stayed at but I can assure you that unless absolutely necessary I will not stay at this hotel again.

That being said I will give them a positive the rooms are very nice and have been renovated and the girls that work the front desk seem to have friendly personalities even though they fought me on early check in and a...

On April 4, 2022 at 4 pm , my family and I checked in the Quality Inn. Our room was 229. We stopped in the room to check it out . It was nice and clean from what we saw. We didn't think to pull back the sheets and inspect. I will moving forward. We left the room and did not return until 9pm. My mother is getting ready for bed and she pulled back the sheets and saw a wad of hair that looked like a bug on the fitted sheets. Just nasty and discussing. I proceed to go to the front desk with pictures in tow. We did take pictures and the time stamped 11:02 pm. The gentleman just started his shift. I told him we just recently returned to the room and found hair on the sheets. I showed the picture and he took a picture of the picture. He said I should have said something earlier , I said we just got back to the room and just saw this . Therefore I am saying something now. He said I have to go to the next building and get some sheets. I said ok. I headed back to my room. About 20 minutes later no one comes up. I headed back down and asked him what's going on. He said there is no house keeper on duty. I said someone needs to change the sheets. He asked me was it the fitted sheet or top , I said both. He goes out a door and come back and hand me the sheets. I told him I am not a house keeper and if I or my mother have to change the sheets , then the room rate should be pro rated. He said there is nothing I can do about and that the manager comes in around 10 am and just put the dirty sheets in the orange bag. It's now 12 am, I was upset , my mom was tire, upset and disgusted. I helped my mother change the sheets. It was not fair or right. That was not our job . The walls are super thin. I heard a man snoring the whole time. Due to storm coming it was time to get up and head back home . At 4:51 am I go into the bathroom and I look up and there is a big cockroach coming out the vent to greet me. Yeah it was really time to go. I was done. Only got 4 hours of sleep just to drive 16 hours back home. As we were checking out, my mother took the sheets down to lobby and talked to the gentleman. Here it is April 13, 2022, my mother has called Quality Inn ( FL 685) 322 Miracle Parkway SW Fort Walton Beach FL to speak to Sophia Cruz (manager) multiple times . There has been no response, just avoidance. She wrote a complaint to Patrick Pacious who is the CEO of Quality Inn and he has yet...

After a late check in, and 2nd floor room.. cone to find the room was uncleanness. Go down to front desk, with photos, chick at the front says go get your stuff ( from 2nd floor) and come back down to get new room assigned. Do as told ( load personal items back onto car) then go to front desk, to be assigned to another room, in another bldg. Unload items again, new room has no towels, half cleaned. Another trip over to the office, as phone doesn't work in room, and won't answer call from personal cell phone. Get towels, drop in room and go out to car for personal hygiene products.. here comes a half dressed female, ( completely dark now) approaching me, asking for help to unclog her drain. States she was a former employee of the hotel. She wanted us to ask front desk for industrial strength draino. Wth? When told no, she continued to try to convince, and after an awkward silence walked off. The next day.. talked to guy at front desk for some kind of compensation. He states the Mgr won't be in till 11. Stated he'd mark us for 12pm ck out so to wait to talk to Mgr. 12pm.. nothing. Leave contact info for Mgr to call, nothing all day. End up calling in the evening, omw back to property. ( as I intended on staying 3 nights, but not if I had to clean it myself) I come inside when on the phone w girl still.. and she advises me the Mgr is not available and that he had been in the bldg all day since 9am. Wth? I was there waiting till noon! ( guess he was hiding in bsck room?)Then advised that nothing will be done till Monday. I physically came to property on Monday. Still not in, same girl calls him,and after 15 min of talking about me, in front of me.. she advises nothing will be compensated. As I did Stay in the room. Yes, after cleaning, collecting linens, and running around. I DID lay down at 2am to a tv that wouldn't operate correctly. With the fresh smell of Marijuana in the hallway of a non smoking property. Be aware, they are never upfront or take responsibility for anything. They take your $ and provide the minimal that they can. The front desk chick, won't look at you when speaking, and very snide with some kind of entitlement. Then will act like your the problem. The manager acts like the wizard of Oz, and stays behind the curtain with his cowardly way of doing business. Be accountable. Treat your customers well, and for heavens sake, CLEAN...
