I grew up at Travis, got married at Travis and attend, when we are in town and can. Travis has had its challenges, but Pastor Bolin is truly breathing life back into Travis. My Father has recently passed. Before he died, we had to transition my Mom into assisted living facility. It was hard on my parents. Travis has done an amazing job of ministering to her. They hadn't been able to attend in almost a year. Their SS Class is sending cards and mementos. Several friends check on her regularly. The Pastor to Seniors/Homebound has done a magnificent job of keeping up with her (both in the hospital and now). Even Pastor Colin has visited. He has never met her. What a blessing. She has a deacon, who is also a family friend, that checks on her several times a week. I can't say what a blessing this has been to my Mom and myself. Travis has shown up for a woman who really can't give back anymore. They are showing God's love...

The Bible study group that I go to on Sunday morning is full of wonderful people. Each man and woman is so full of grace.... I feel welcome every time I walk in the door. The Wednesday night Bible study group is equally inviting.
