Whataburger — Restaurant in Fort Worth

The only "fast food" I will eat is Whataburger. So I frequent all of the Whataburgers in the DFW. The "Chicken Fajita Taco" on their menu is always my GO-TO item of choice... Unfortunately, it is an item in which I ALWAYS have to get pulled up for in the drive-thru because it's a real whole chicken breast that takes 7-10 min to make fresh...

But I will WAIT every single time bc they're that damn good!

Today, I had to give a SHOUT OUT to this particular Whataburger for a few things. Y'all really went above and beyond...

1. Most places sweet tea is either too sweet or not sweet enough... This Whataburger had THE. BEST. damn sweet tea. You can taste the fresh brew on it and not too sweet! Awesome!

2. I couldn't speak (laryngitis) so I had to pull up to the window to order. The girl at the window was so empathetic and SUPER sweet and genuine! Whoever you are girl, KEEP SMILING MAMA!!! You change people's day with it!

3. My food tasted like someone's big granny was in the back making FAJITAS! Nothing generic about it... It was fresh... The veggies were cooked right where most places try to cook everything so quickly that the onions and bell peppers are never fully cooked soft anywhere I go... Today it was bomb! They even grilled my tortilla like my abuelita used to do... Most places don't do that... And I didn't even ask them for that added touch.

4. I forgot to ask for ketchup... Silly me... Luckily the very nice and very THOROUGH drive thru girl had my back... Already had some in the bag. Where most places, if you don't ask for condiments at the window, you just...

I’ve been collecting the 75th Anniversary Whataburger cups and have already purchased seven cups across three different designs. Like many others, I was told these cups were refillable for a year, and for the first few days, that seemed to be true. I’ve refilled them at multiple locations without any issues. The only exception has been in some countryside areas, where they don’t honor the 75th cup refills — which is understandable since those locations are doing lifetime tumbler refills instead.

But today, at the same location where I bought two of these cups just two days ago — and where staff explicitly told me at the time of purchase that they were year-refillable — I was suddenly told I couldn’t refill it. I wasn’t even asking for soda — just water and ice. Staff claimed they’ve never allowed refills and insisted that this applies to every Whataburger location, which is clearly false based on my actual experience at other stores.

I had no problems until a manager stepped in with an unprofessional attitude, which made it clear this location is misleading customers. If Whataburger wants to market these cups as collectible with year-long refill benefits, then that policy needs to be clearly communicated and consistently honored at all participating locations.

If the refill program has ended after a couple months, that’s fine — but don’t lie about it when someone bought the cup just days ago.

If you're considering collecting these or purchasing multiples like I did, don’t waste your money unless Whataburger publicly defines and enforces a clear, location-wide...

I live 2 min from this Whataburger location and I drive to the whataburger by tcu or seminary Very bad experience every single time I’m here LATOYA took my order the DAM GENERAL MANAGER As she took my order while I was talking she was telling people what to do in the back ground and kept making me repeat what I was saying I told her I’ll wait I’m a manger too I know how it is An attitude “ mama I’m ready to take ur order what do u want” Then when she was reading my order back to me I order ranch and buffalo on the side She kept saying “ okay mama and u wanted the buffalo and ranch on the side?” (Kept talking to people in the back ground ) I said yes She asked again cuz she didn’t hear my answer I said yes She ASKED AGAIN Yelled out YES!
