Avanti Winery — Attraction in Four Corners States

I’m giving this one star not for the wine but for the poor customer service. I was at the farmers market in Castlerock today, Sunday, June 2, 2024, we sampled and we’re going to buy wine. The card reader was not working so we said we would circle back after he got it to work. My husband had our dog on a leash and my dog had to go to the bathroom, and the gentleman flipped out, started cussing and had to walk away from the booth. My husband cleaned up after our dog because we are responsible owners however, the way this gentleman reacted was completely unacceptable and there was zero need to use curse words in front of all the children. Castlerock is a very family forward dog friendly environment so if this gentleman is going to flip out because a dog had to go potty I suggest they don’t do events. They make my absolute favorite wine ever “Mystique” it’s a red blend that actually has a port in it. I every time I buy cases and everybody who I share it with always wants it also. I have been choosing this is my favorite for years since their very first batch, which was a mistake originally. And now that they make it on purpose it is absolutely delicious. We attended the home show in Colorado Springs today and the older gentleman working the booth was rude and ignored us as we stood there and was talking to a couple T-Mobile folks and the older gentleman made a comment that these people (us) just want to taste wine but not buy.
