We returned for a visit to our family home. So many great memories were made raising my boys in Highlands ranch between Redstone, Marcy Park and the Rec Center we were able to enjoys some great moments.
Redstone has some great routes from our neighborhood including access for summer sports and festivities including a memorable visit to the skate park and a visit from Lynn Cooper a icon Skateboarder during the Tony Hawk era.
I was thankful for the variety of activities at the parks especially during our life changing events.

Additionally, the skate park is locked up every time it snows, sometimes for days after the snow has melted, when the judgment could be left to skaters as to whether conditions are safe enough. In the summer, there is very little shade, and the bowls are sometimes left littered with gravel and dangerous debris for days after rain or windstorms. Read morePretty cool park. The play ground is average, but the pond is really cool. It has ducks, geese, crawdads and turtles which makes going their with my 2 year old boy quite fun. Fishing is allowed in the pond as well and they do stock it once per year. The fields by the park are huge and typically vacant. The skate park seemed to be pretty decent to me, although I have never used it.
