Redstone Skate Park — Attraction in Four Corners States

This skatepark is a lot of fun. I loved the huge snake run that ends at the big vert bowl area. There's great downhill flow and big banked turns so you can build a lot of speed. There's also a shallow bowl with a spine and a street section with various ramps, stairs, rails and quarter pipes. The street section is at the highest point of the park so using the downhill from there into the snake run/vert bowl was great. Redstone Skate park has been around for many years. It's kept up nicely by highlands Ranch metro district. However, the kids that skate there are different from 8-10 years ago. A different generation that doesn't seem to have any rules or respect for each other. I'm not speaking about all the skaters, but a lot has changed since I used to go every day and watch so many kids skate. They were there to have fun, respected one another and skate. Great skate park! Features a baby bowl with a little bitty spine, perfect for beginners. It's separate from the street course and the flow bowl, keeping beginners out of the way. The street course feels small, but flows straight into a snake bowl that then opens up into some deeper bowls. Everything is continuous, so you need to call where you are and pay attention.
