We stayed here for a sat. Night when we were passing through the area. It’s been on my list for a while. Wanted to check out the hot springs. There’s two pools, they are only full from about 8-5. They are on an automatic timer and drain in the evening. The water was nice fairly warm but I do not know the temp. It is funny because the area all around is built for ATV and such so it’s just kinda a funny juxtaposition. We got a camp site but it appears you really could just park your vehicle/trailer almost anywhere besides the main road. There is a camp host but he mainly just seemed to be interested in keeping things clean. I feel like if you come on a weekday you probably would most likely have the place to yourself. There was motor noise but I know that going into the place. Everyone we chatted with was very nice. A large family gathering hooked us up with some damn good chicken tacos. And a dude in a geo tracker gave us a ride to and from the pools. Definitely would pop back through if I was...

The road to the Campground was sketchy with lots of bumps, however we saw some construction going on the road as if they were fixing some parts. But what do you expect when you are camping in the middle of nowhere. That’s a small price to pay.

Make sure to bring all necessities such as food, water and gas. There’s nothing around for miles and the closest town is literally a ghost town.

The hot springs and the bathrooms were very clean surprisingly. The park Host I believe his name was Allen was a total sweet heart and very helpful.

Be aware if camping alone and towing the sand gets very deep which means you can get stuck . So bring a shovel!!

The Scenery, peace and serenity is all worth it!!!

By the way there’s great trails for...

We visited about a year ago. It was incredibly busy and we got lucky to find a semi-private campsite. Our truck and trailer got a bit scratched up by the bushes getting into it. The hot spring pools are small and it can only accommodate 4-5 people. They are solar heated and get drained at night so it takes a long time to heat up, and you can't soak under the stars, which is part of what makes natural hot springs so great. For us this just wasn't worth the long bumpy, pot-hole ridden road to come out here. Plus it's a noisy area with all the OHV trails. We did not end up using the hot springs because they were...
