Peterson SFB Visitor Center — Attraction in Four Corners States

Free museum area is inside of the base but needs a pass via an application at least one day ahead of time (website has info). I was recommended Fort Carson on the south side of town, which I must say was impressive! No wait and they have around 10 different tanks from the beginning of our times using them up to recent, an attack helicopter, and a complete war history museum with real artifacts that informs on the history of our country's and the local Colorado Springs several major Army units...

I work on base forgot my card at work over the weekend. This was my first time I go in sign in, ket them know this was my first time not having my card and being there. The ladies asked what I needed. They look at me and doesn’t say anything. I wait for an hour. Until it is just me in then they say the buildings aren’t open to check if I really work on base. Visitors center was closed so my parent and I had to go through the gate. We wait 15 minutes and they let the person behind go with their visitors pass even though they arrived way later us. This experience has been so frustrating and disappointing. Clearly our time is not valued. Please step it...
