Lynda had cut my hair a couple weeks prior and did a great job and today I went in for hair coloring. There was obviously miscommunication on both of our ends which ended in my hair having orange/light roots and brown/red on the rest. However, Lynda was very kind and willing to try to fix it and also refunded me 50%. SO, I was not planning on writing a nasty review because of her kindness. However, throughout the day my scalp has progressively become more irritated and I’m in so much pain. I’ve had my hair colored so many times before and have NEVER had this type of reaction. I’ve tried several different things (washing my hair, hair oils, Benadryl, Tylenol) all of which haven’t helped. It could have been because she applied the dye to my scalp first before the ends or mid-section of my hair or because she left the hair dryer on one section of my head for way too long and didn’t move it until I grabbed my scalp in pain. LOVE, LOVE, LOOOOOVE this place! I usually get my hair cut by Meredith and she's amazing ♥️ for reference, I've lived in Colorado Springs since 2018 and had never had a primary salon do my hair (I would switch and try a different place every time I needed a cut, or attempt it myself at home) until I found her. I have extra long Asian hair and required types of cut that specifically works for my hair texture and highlight/hide certain facial features and that's something every other place had a hard time with as they'd force my hair into these generic cuts that didn't do me any favors 🥲 luckily, I found Hair HQ about a year ago now and I've been coming here ever since!

Meredith listens to exactly what you want done and gets it accomplished 💅🏼 experienced and talented—she's got the skills to work on newer styles, even those foreign to her and is able to actually work with my hair needs to help me grow out the perfect hair I've been dreaming of 🫶🏼

I went there to get my legs waxed... It took her 45 minutes to do only the upper legs but the worst part is that she missed so many spots its ridiculous... I understand that my hair is blond and is hard to see but you would think that they would have proper lighting to see what they are doing. I could also tell that she had no clue what she was doing. I asked her since how long has she been doing this and she said a few years. I hope its a lie otherwise she should reconsider a new career. she was all over the place, doing one leg then the other one, the front the back then front again. When I sat down in the bed I could see there was many spots still missing and I told her that.
