RUDE - PATHETIC SERVICE, CHEATING CUSTOMERS OUT OF THEIR MONEY. Scamming MUST STOP!

I was a frequent customer and knew the staff for quite some time. Recently, I have noticed that the quality-of-service management is going through bad times and disruptions. The level of service and people's expectations have gone down significantly. The majority of the staff overcharges customers. An incident happened to me not too long ago.

I was at the store and ordered a whole goat leg and instructed the butcher to cut the meat into thin slices. After a few days, when I thawed the meat to cook, I noticed that the butcher had changed the leg meat into thin ribs full of undesirable edible parts. It’s a big scam for charging full price and not delivering the right product.

Needless to say, some of you have already experienced the same scam. I have the store's original receipt and have decided to file a complaint with the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) and local law...

I come here once in awhile when i need to buy halal meat and poultry for my guest who comes to stay over. There's 2 kinds of selections, the frozen meat and the freshly cut ones. I usually buy the fresh ones because they are so fresh it smells like the animal itself. The butchers are friendly and can custom cut a piece of meat area if they have any available on that day. If not, just ask them when is the next slaughter is coming or order if you want a certain cut. I was lucky today because a new cow carcass came from the slaughter yesterday and they showed me the whole giant slab of cow and which part i wanted. Got some beef ribs and custom beef shanks for a reasonable price, pricey but worth it.

Also too, now they have a small sweets section of baklavas and other yummy sweets! Got 2 pieces for the way home. Other than that, it is a good grocery store for rices, spices, tea and other middle...

I was told by my mother that this was the place to go for the the kind of desserts I love. The staff was helpful and always available. I wasn’t able to find everything I was looking for, but what I did find was reasonably priced and easy to locate. There were three employees not wearing masks and a couple of customers not wearing any either. Because this is a small shop, your proximity to others is close. I felt extremely uncomfortable once I realized how many folks around me were casually without masks conversing etc. I checked out immediately but because there is not a clear place to stand in line, people huddled right next to me; one woman without a mask attempted to check out with my same cashier, at the same time. This is just an FYI as some readers may want to understand the layout and should have realistic expectations for a small store such as this...
