Crist Park Frederick — Attraction in Frederick

Park is beautiful, Frederick is a quaint small town that deserves more than a drive by. The walk down Main Street to Locust and 6th where we parked we were able to walk the majority of the town and it was an easy walk to the Hot Air Festival in the park. The music was lively and the park super clean. The only thing we would of enjoyed more would have been actual balloons with hot air during the glow party. The hot air balloon operators left before 8:15pm...sun...

Ok. It’s properly located. Thanks to mostly me, it’s got SO MANY ingress portals (and poke*), that it’s a particularly good place for players to take a stroll. It’s 30 sec from great bbq, 40 from hyperexpensive but very good pizza, 70 from the best beer within a km, 90 from the best beer within a km, 100 from really good pizza, and 300m from the best pizza and the best beer within 16km.

This is a very nice municipal park. It has a rather large gazebo you can use for parties. There are a few picnic tables near the gazebo. It has a playground with one side for toddlers and the other for big kids, swings are in the middle.
