Chainsaws & Chuck wagons on 7-21-23. Hadn't been before, so we were curious to check it out. We weren't really impressed with the food or beverages. The best that we found for entertainment was the Women's Axe competition. Don't get me wrong, the carvers are excellent and are easily engaged in conservation, as well as having some previously carved pieces for sale. But, it seemed there was a lull in the masterpiece carving. There's not a lot of shade, so keep that in mind. PLEASE, PLEASE bring water if you do bring a dog/pet! Not really my thing, but I'm sure many others would enjoy it.

So we came up here to see the balloons get sent off and there's like a whole thing going on with all these little tense when people advertise their businesses and stuff. From all that I have seen I have not seen slides or swings, or anything really for a kiddo to play with. My daughter was disappointed. So I don't know if there's more to this park somewhere and there are toys or rides for kids but where we are there's not. Huge part, tho

Attended the Miners day festivities for the first time. Great food court and shaded eating areas. Nice parade. Saw part of the burro race. Lots of vendors but didn't see any non-profits other than a church to investigate volunteer activities in the area. Plenty of room for more.

Nice park was there working a fair people are pretty respectful. Sadly I forgot my wallet so couldn’t get food or things from booths don’t believe any of them took Venmo. Before the event started are group ran to the store to get gas for the genie and had to park somewhere else because a car show blocked one entrance and a parade took over the other route to get back in. Was quite impressed to see families cleaning the park as the festivities were ending. Wish I could have stayed to see all the fireworks but they were going on forever and we needed...
