this is a new hidden gem in Frederick. they have great hours for a night owl like me (espresso till 8pm) and they also have a full bar (which isn't my vice but watching the bartender I can tell they know what they are doing). the atmosphere is great with a variety of seating options from long tables to comphy chairs. they have games and stuff to entertain your party and they have a wide assortment of pastries (including gluten free ones). I'm a fan of their "dirty" iced chai latte and they know how to pull a shot and never water down the drink with too much ice. they have a clean and accessible bathroom as well, with a full size privacy door for the stall. just don't expect the same quality from any of the other food in the space (food trucks or the pizza and sandwiches) as they appear to be independent and their quality is best understood by reading their...

Tried this place for the first time and left unimpressed. Their mocha tasted flat and unbalanced; they just hand you a cup with the milk sitting at the bottom and the espresso on the top expecting you to stir it yourself. Had one of their burgers too and was ok, a bit overcooked and dry, and considering the price, it definitely wasn’t worth it.

The service didn’t help the experience either. The staff came across as uninterested and a bit rude, which made the whole visit feel unwelcoming.

It's a favorite of mine, but admittedly, their sweet pastries are inferior to their savory ones, yet the latter of which have gotten increasingly difficult to come by. Really missing their spinach artichoke danishes. The drinks are always delicious, as are the serrated grill burgers and waffle fries, so I suppose I shouldn't complain too much. It's seriously a great place.
