Average wines, terrible customer service. My husband and I have done wine tastings across the US, as well as in Chianti and other regions of Tuscany… and this was the most disappointing. We did the wine and cheese pairing, and had the customer service been better, it would have been… fine. For the quality of wine I think it’s a bit over priced, especially compared to some of the competitors in the region such as William Chris, but the service was the real issue. Our guide, Merryl, knew nothing about the wines or the cheeses. She had to read off a piece of paper for half of them. She even had to repeatedly look at our pairing list to know which wines to bring out, and still brought the wrong one. All of that said, it would have been fine had she been attentive to us, but she spent a great portion of her time at a table with another couple. She sat down with them and had in depth conversations about wines and other offerings, but was totally disengaged with us. For an $80 expense I would have at least liked to have information on our pairings. I still give 2 stars because they were great with our child and other children we saw there, which is a redeemable quality. As physicians we have a pretty large network of wine club members and enthusiasts, but this certainly will not be on any of our lists after...
Read moreFrom the moment my mom and I walked into Texas Wine Collective, we knew we were in for a completely different experience than our previous stop. At Slate Theory, we were made to feel less than simply because my mom prefers sweet wine. But at TWC they welcomed us with warmth, enthusiasm, and—most importantly—zero judgment.
The staff (Stephanie and Randy) took the time to understand what we liked and went out of their way to find the perfect wines for us. They never made my mom feel like her preference for sweet wine was anything less than valid. Instead, they embraced it, offering fantastic recommendations and making her feel just as valued as any dry-wine aficionado.
Beyond that, the entire experience was top-notch. The ambiance was inviting, the staff was knowledgeable and engaging, and the wines—both sweet and dry—were absolutely delicious. It was clear that customer experience is a priority here, and that means everything. We became members and can't wait to come often!
If you’re looking for a winery that truly cares about making every guest feel included and appreciated, TWC is the place to go. We left with great wine, even better memories, and a new go-to spot for future visits....
Read more4.0 Winery hands down is one of the most professional, customer focused companies I have ever dealt with!! My wife and I have been wine club members for several years and have always been treated like royalty. When we go visit in person or dealing with over the phone or on-line. Awhile ago I had ordered a case of one of our favorite red wines. Not realizing that there was a rose with the same label, I ordered the Rose not the red . When I called and spoke to them I was told to keep it and share it with friends and family(which I did) and they promptly sent out the case of red that I had thought I ordered. No extra cost....WOW! Recently I just ordered another case of mixed reds this past Monday, I received it on Wednesday in perfect shape and was updated throughout the entire process. With everything going on right now, this is AMAZING service!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone reading this to become members of their wine club as they have incredible service, fantastic wines and a huge selection. Thank you 4.0 Cellars...We will be...
