I have never had a worse buying experience... Where do I start. I work in customer service and I have never been so disappointed with the kind of customer service my husband and I received. We bought a vehicle from Caleb Hanson a few months ago (who was EATING in front of us while we sat with him waiting to finish the deal, which I thought was very unprofessional). Before we did we asked for him to get a vehicle transferred in from another location, which I assumed wouldn’t be difficult. When we went in to test drive it they ended getting us the wrong vehicle, supposedly sold the other one, and even that day didn’t care to be to apologetic about it(STRIKE 1). Working in the industry we gave him the benefit of the doubt, because hey people make mistakes... we ended up purchasing the vehicle that they brought in for us instead thinking that overall it was the same vehicle just less miles, more money, and more perks. Even after this first incident we had to go back in and RESIGN all the paper work because he didn’t realize banks don’t like PO Box’s (STIKE 2). Recently, we realized the vehicle is not what we had thought we were getting and I went back to them to have them Make it right. Granted I knew we weren’t going to get everything back we already put into the vehicle we purchased. However, they were not willing to even try and be apologetic or sympathetic about the situation (STRIKE 3). At this time we stormed out because again I work in customer service and when you have an upset customer you should be apologetic and do your best to make it right, otherwise you lose their business and probably all of their friends business too. I am sharing this because I am upset at the fact that this company and the salesman apparently care more about their commission check then trying to get repeat customers or any referrals because if anyone asks me going forward what I think about Fairway Ford I’m going to tell them the truth, and that is: I would NEVER purchase a vehicle from them again. Read moreHands down worst service department I have ever experienced. Purchased truck and paid for undercoating and extended warranty. Brought it in for the undercoating and a check engine light that came on the day after I purchased the vehicle. They had it for three days and called to say they fixed my check engine light. And I needed to reschedule my undercoating. They couldn’t tell me at all what they did to fix my vehicle when I asked. Then the next day the light came on again. Called them and ask for them to look at it again at same time it’s in for rescheduled undercoating. They Called said they had problems and needed another day to undercoat. When I asked what the issue was they said they were not sure. I called the next day to see if it finished and they told me it was just finished and ready for pickup. When I got there the service rep said they forgot to check the check engine light. When I got to my vehicle they sprayed the paint with the undercoating and there was marks all over the vehicle fenders, Inside of the tailgate, between box and truck. Terrible work they should be embarrassed. Asked them to clean it and they only cleaned The fender indirectly pointed too. Took it home and cleaned it myself then had to redo it when I found out they covered my tires in the undercoating too. Took it back a third time to get my light looked at again. They finally fixed it but didn’t put the rock guard back on the bottom. They clearly have no care for quality When I called they said they would look into it and call me back. Read moreI took my vehicle in there to get new tires drag link some u joints and an air shock kit installed. They ripped apart the RCA cable that transmits the picture from my backup camera to my screen, they destroyed a wheel speed sensor plug in and then tried to hide it from me because it was tucked up behind a shock and a bunch of other stuff and I only noticed it when I was looking to see why I wasn't getting any video signal, the airlines for the air shock kit were installed completely backwards the ends that are supposed to hook into the shocks are sticking out the back end and Lord only knows where they put the t intersection with the Schrader valve that's supposed to be sticking out by the license plate so I can fill them. I paid a lot of money for this stuff and I can't even use the shocks at all I have to pay another shop now to reverse the damage that they did. They offered to fix the sensor and the RCA cable but it's been over a week and I haven't heard anything from them about it. The only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is because the tire price was better than I could find anywhere else and as far as I can tell the u-joints and the drag link were installed properly and fine.
