Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Freeport

I called the Freeport d q and a person answer the phone with just a hello I asked to speak to the manager and this person stated that they're the manager ( I asked her why they just answered the phone with just a hello and they gave me an excuse that something is wrong with the phone lines or I didn't hear her properly and I know what I heard very unprofessional ? I asked them why their salad bowls didn't have much lettuce in the salad bowl and at first they were giving me this excuse that there's a difference between corporate owned and independent owned just an excuse I went to Rockford and eat at the Dairy Queen by Cherryvale Mall and ordered a salad bowl and that salad bowl was filled completely with lettuce and was very delicious. If this manager can't answer the phone in a professional way then I understand why I didn't receive much lettuce at all.i also feel that this manager should start over seeing the employees on how the food is prepared. I now understand why this restaurant has so many bad reviews the owner of Freeport DQ I suggest that you spend some time in your business and also train your employees how to properly answer a phone and you should train your manager some management skills. For the amount of money I paid for the salad wasn't worth it. I'll be happy to return to McDonald's or the other fast food...

The workers are always chitchatting about non work topics. The workers have extremely bad attitudes. The inside of the dining area has mold on the walls. And I’m allergic to mold to the point where if I were to touch it I could die. The chicken wasn’t cooked all the way. The workers are rude. And the hiring manager was extremely rude to the kitchen workers all because food is supposed to be made and given to customers with four minutes but it takes four minutes just to cook the food. The ice cream is melted as soon as I get it. They say that customers are their priority but it’s just that, they are nice to customers but rude to workers. I don’t know about other Dairy Queen restaurants but the one in Freeport I don’t ever want to go or eat...

I am beyond livid, I go in there to get my wife, her mom and me ice cream and my wife can’t have dairy, so I go in there right before they close and order now tell me how there are 4 employees including a manager and I order a non dairy dilly bar and she typed it in and even repeated it and then proceeds to grab a dairy one, not Ill take responsibility for not checking even though I shouldnt have to if people did there job right and because I came in near closing, I can’t get a refund nor my item replaced for the mistake they made, very unprofessional and definitely not going back there. I normally like Dairy Queen but these folks do not care, hire people who care bout the job not...
