One of my favorite places in freeport! And one of my favorite breakfast places in the country! Love the price for the quantity. The service, coffee, friendly atmosphere (even when busy or slow), and taste create an all around quality experience. 100% recommend.

Great food at fantastic prices. Best bisquits and gravy anywhere. If you want to try the biscuits and gravy be sure to get there early because when they run out, that's it . All done, no more.

On a work trip so not familiar with the area so we googled breakfast places in the area... the reviews were mostly positive so we took a chance, the staff was friendly, the atmosphere warm and wonderful. Including the ladies room... pleasantly surprised with lotions for after hand washing a Scentsy Warmer for fragrance and even an actual pac n play to change or hold your little one... now the disappointment.... the food... I got the chicken fried stake and my coworker got hashbrowns/gravy ....the gravy was just as others described so watered-down that it almost looked like water with absolutely no flavor with enough salt and pepper we both managed to mostly finish it. I got a biscuit instead of toast and it was a square cake like thing also with no flavor that basically fell apart when I tried to spread the cold hard butter that I received. Just a suggestion serve soft butter... liked the place but can't say we would try it again due to the...

I’ve tried eating here at least 4-5 times over the past year. Upon entering the main area and dining area all I have been greeted with is unfriendly stares. I’m not originally from Freeport so I’m not sure a majority of the people in the restaurant know each other from growing up around here or what, but it’s super weird to be stared out like you don’t belong. You have to seat yourself and it takes forever for a waitress to come to your table to even ask what drinks you’d like. Then it takes forever again for her to come get your food order. A few times we’ve had a nice waitress but the other times we had someone who really didn’t seem to care. This place has always extremely busy when I’ve gone. The food is good, that’s about all I like about this place. I was really hoping that this place would be a great breakfast spot but sadly it seems only to be for certain people (people who grew up...

Went there for the first time in many months today. They close now on weekends at 11am, I was there by 10:15. Ordered at 10:25. People left nearby tables, others were seated there, they ordered and had their food 15 minutes before mine showed up at 11:10am. It was clear it had been forgotten because the country fried steak skillet I ordered was lukewarm at best on a bed of cold hash browns. Doubly clear after 8 guys showed up at 11:05, were still served and all 8 had their food in 15 minutes.

No acknowledgement or apology from the waitress either. She just handed the check over, didn't ask if anything else was needed, and walked away.

I loved this place when I visited previously. But...
