I bought a dress from them, which had a couple seams that weren't properly attached. When I got home and tried to unclasp the rivets, they fell off! Additionally, it promptly fell apart as soon as I put it on. It was clear that this was due to the thread disintegrating with age. However, the lady that runs this place would not give me a refund, citing the fact that "she had tried it on herself and it was fine", and repeatedly invalidating my experience.
Though the receipt did say "final sale", when a customer purchases a product, flaws should be disclosed. Otherwise, there is an implicit agreement that what you're selling me is functional. We didn’t realize it was 10 minutes before closing and I was rudely made aware upon entering by the older lady at the front desk. I gave her a lighthearted response “oh I’m sorry, I’ll make it quick” and then she repeated that they were closing in 10 minutes with even more disdain in her voice. I immediately felt uncomfortable and left. As soon as we left the store, she locked the door behind us. It was 4:51pm at this point. Utter disrespect and unprofessionalism from an employee.
