Mi Cafesito Van Ness — Attraction in Fresno

I was super excited to visit this location after having such a great experience at the Manchester location, but unfortunately my experience at this location was really disappointing.

When I arrived at 8:50, they were barely opening despite having a 8:30 a.m. opening time. No big deal, I had barely arrived and the man was kind enough to open the doors for me. However, upon entering the premises, there was a really funky, unpleasant smell, the floors were dirty, and the man who opened the doors immediately started scrubbing the dirty stoves. Additionally, the counters were unorganized and a crummy mess.

I ordered their matchacha, but the horchata base they had used tasted sour, assuming maybe it had been spoiled and the matcha was extremely watered down.

I don't want to sound so negative, especially since I do enjoy the Manchester location and love Mi Cafecito's business values (the community approach), but this location was just not it and will instead prefer to drive a bit farther to the Manchester location.

Aside from the negatives, the employees are really kind and took their time to craft my drink, but it was unfortunate that my drink and first impression of this location...

This place feels like it should be on the shores of Florida. The moment you walk in you know they have coffee, and they make it good. I was with my 11yr old Daughter whom has genetically inherited her love for the Java from her mother. I had the honor of growing up with My Father Chester, who has been saying, "That's one damn fine cup of coffee" way before twin peaks said it. While looking over the menu, which also has food, we decided on 2 reg Lattes and 1 churro and 1 Horchata, all of them superb, the best part was the Petite Conchas they put on top of the lid.... I will definitely be back for...

Was not greeted and stood there for a long time, both employees did not talk to me. I finally spoke first. It was my first time. I was going to leave but I really wanted to try it. Smells like poop inside:/ But the torta was ok and the iced horchata latte was good. Over $18 for the 2 items.

Response: as it was my 1st time, I didn't know where to order, the pickup window was not labeled, I walked to the other side and then saw the register there. Even though you were busy, just tell the customer "we'll be right with you" at least to acknowledge them. I can still hear...
