I feel mixed about my experience. My technician was very kind and super helpful to me. I'm a bit older, plus sized & have some back issues and she was very accommodating and a lovely lady (very strong too for being so tiny š¤). I left feeling somewhat relaxed and did enjoy the experience. There are some "buts" tho. Their social media advertises the head spa using a head steamer, gua sha, and another instrument I didn't recognize (called "massage lifting" in a TikTok video), a brushing (with a round, green brush in the video), and none of that happened for me. Also the halo/half circle rain-like water instrument you see isn't used nearly enough for relaxation. My scalp was scrubbed quite a bit, which I liked, but there wasn't enough relaxing brushing/scalp treatment besides some basic massaging to balance out the very brisk and aggressive scrubbing with fingernails. Gua sha would have been nice but that wasn't done. And the brushing/combing I saw in the TikTok video would have been nice too but that wasn't done either.
Also, they advertised a small buffet or refreshments like fruit after the experience (also mentioned by other clients in their reviews) and they did not do this or have this at all. I went at 3:30 in the afternoon. Water was provided tho.
In addition, they claim on Instagram and clearly on their website and business card seen on their website to offer "Annual fee is $58/yr, free 60min service for the first time" and that is what kinda brought me in. However they didn't honor that. Instead they said annual "membership" is free and I get a 10% discount each time I visit in future. But that 10% off is already part of the annual membership. So basically they didn't honor the $58 deal with first 60 min service (I got the 60 min head spa) free. This benefits them as I paid the full $88 plus $20 tip, but felt dishonest to me. An initial special like that will bring in a new client to see how good their services are and then we will return if truly good. And if they aren't offering it anymore they need to remove it from their official website as it's shown clearly under their "Our Services" page. Along with no advertised buffet or refreshments, and no head spa features like the ones in the social media video will make me think about returning. Perhaps I will try another technician? I don't know.
One other thing...I have short, curlier hair. After the hair wash she blow dried my hair while I was laying down and didn't ask me if that was what I wanted. My hair looked ridiculous afterwards, all straight and blow dried back off my face. After paying $88 I don't want to have to go home and rewet my hair to style it. Perhaps offer blow dry to clients first so that those of us with different hair needs can leave without looking silly.
If they honored the $58 for a 60 min experience shown on their website and offered small refreshments after as advertised I'd return. Nowadays it's all about businesses offering a full "experience" and don't show your business offering something and then not so that for all clients. Being cheap like that and negating an offer clearly shown on your website and social media will not make a client want to return. The extras that are offered are what set you apart and make clients want to keep...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām honestly surprised and shocked this place doesnāt have 5 stars only! I went with a larger group and they were so nice and accommodating! We did the head therapy and one of the combination massages and it was amazing! The entire atmosphere of the location was very relaxing. It had low lighting and signs throughout to remind people to not make much noise. I had a baby 2 months ago and this is definitely what I was needing.
My favorite of the two was the head therapy. The shampoos that they used smelled really good. I loved the steaming. Everything that they advertised was used and I left ready to go home and take a nap. This is something that I will forsure come back to do!
The massage was very relaxing and calming. She was able to get out a few knots that I had. The room was fairly dark with nice, soft...

However, there were 3 aspects that were severely disappointingly and took away from what should be an ideal spa experience.
The annoying door chime bell ringing in any time someone stepped into the spa, so loud and blaring, please shut it off.
The therapist walking out every couple of minutes to attend to the lobby, please have something manage the lobby and not take away time and attention from the therapist.
Loud noise chatter outside the therapy room, making it difficult to relax.
If you are looking for a quite relaxing time go elsewhere, until they fix these issues. I think the therapists are good but the overall experience was not...
