Wanted some pool food and my friend said let’s go to the Sandwich Spot. I’m not normally ever excited about subs or sandwiches so I was like: Meh! SO GLAD WE WENT! I got the IBEW 69 (#37) on Dutch Crunch bread and my friend got the The Dallas Cowboy (#19) on sliced Sourdough. She said for that sandwich she wouldn’t get any other bread and the sliced Sourdough was perfect! I had a bite of hers and it was very good! Mine was out of this world delicious. Super balanced, not too much bread, amazing flavor, sauces were so yummy, fresh ingredients, love that they use purple onions! I got everything on it except peppers. I’m already thinking about when I’m going back and I will be stopping there before I head out to Cali and buying my food for the car ride! Ate it so fast I didn’t even get pictures!

Owners are super nice! And, I watched them make 2 sandwiches with avocado and they used an entire half of an avocado, which is surprisingly generous compared to all the other stingy sandwich places out there who slap on 2 small avocado slices and think they’re doing you a favor. These are big sandwiches. You could have 2 meals in one but I bet no one ever does it because it’s too hard not to eat the whole thing while licking up any sauce on your fingers so nothing gets away from you! I ordered online for pickup and when I arrived a little early, I noticed the Now Hiring sign on the door, a few people dining in, and about 3 other customers waiting before me for their orders as well. I saw the owner and one employee working hard to get the orders up. After a few minutes, the owner looked up and told me they were short staffed due to another employee not there. I reassured her she was fine and doing great. I patiently waited my turn and 10 minutes after my expected pick up time, my order was ready. I thanked her again and want to let everyone know she and her employee did amazing given the circumstances. I got the Harley Davidson sandwich combo and it was very good! I want to commend the owner for showing grace under pressure and remaining calm, yet working swiftly and efficiently as possible. Her employee was very polite and friendly. This review is for May 17, 2025 (Saturday). 2:00 p.m. We came in hoping for a great bite and that is precisely what we got. The crew working was attentive and helpful. My son got a #17 and my wife got a Rueben. I’ve had surgery so I just came along to watch. The sandwiches were executed very well and were brought to the table in less than 4 minutes. I watched as Jeffrey wiped down tables and the front door, all while checking with all customers. He may be the owner, if not, he shows customer care like an owner should. We appreciated the efforts. I’ve read comments on many businesses where someone made a mistake or something went awry. Always remember that the operator is trying to make a living. If they missed the mark, tell them, politely, skip the anonymous social media comments, give them the chance you wish you had when screwing up.
