Filthy and Overcrowded - especially w/ india ppl. Caught Covid due to unsanitary practices here. No matter the time of day, itās full of people- some may not even be members and many are under 18 without any form of supervision. They absolutely do not scan in- people trickle in constantly and staff is too busy on their cell phones. We only come here and we work from home and we obviously caught Covid from the gym due to the deplorable conditions and overcrowding. Visitors donāt clean off machines, the teeny-boppers make out in public in the weight area, people sit on machines and text several minutes and hog the machines. Itās filthy and Iāve been a PF member for over a decade. This location is worst. They have got to do something to get it under control fast. I wouldnāt be surprised if they were being looked at for exceeding capacity. Regardless Iām out. Edited to add that people hog up the floor space with mats, jump ropes, boom boxes, etc and itās to the point empty machines canāt be used because by operating the weight machine it would hit the person in the floor. Do those exercises at home and stop blocking machines. And the outside trainers hog up the rest of the floor space and constantly solicit members to use their services. My sister gets calls from them because front desk gave out her cell number to outside trainers, whereas I didnāt update my to my married name or update my cell number in PF system which is why I didnāt get bothered yet. Such a shame to end a decade of belonging because of this location. Itās best to leave and sue for getting the virus and being pestered and harassed by outside trainers. The manager at the location obviously doesnāt care which is why Iām taking it to courts. Easy to do because my husband is a lawyer. When the company has to get their checkbook out they will change. Iām posting reviews and info elsewhere and in the future, will be listing a contact email address for other victims of the filthy zoo aka Planet India that is this location. Very happy I can afford to pay more to go to a clean gym with civilized people that clean up after themselves and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would have given a five out of five star review but...I love everything about this particular facility. The staff, the equipment, the cleanliness, the variety of drinks for working out or protein shakes, the discounts offered ect..I generally love this gym. The one down side I have recently began to notice is the non staffed outside trainers that come multiple times a day with their clients to train. This is all fine and dandy. What isn't okay is being bullied off of a squat rack between sets (I had a 30 second break) I had only been on the squat rack for 3 minutes total at that point and was on my second set. I was approached by a man who interrupted my personal time (I am a mother of five children the gym is my only time to myself). I was asked very brashly and rudely " will I be done quickly? I replied with sir I have two quick sets of squats left and I will be finished. He said well you need to share. I was baffled as I had just gotten on the equipment. Not to mention he had the squat rack next to me for his clients who were already beginning to use their squat rack. I said to him "Well sir you pay the same amount I pay and you need to learn to be patient and considerate of others too." He replied I have been doing this for 25 years and people do other exercises on the squat rack that shouldn't be done on the squat rack. I said "Okay well that's not my business nor is it yours and you should still learn some patience and consideration....And instead of nit picking at people for what you feel their doing wrong why don't you offer your expertise instead of tearing them down? Of course meat head didn't have much to say after that. Needless to say, as a female member I don't feel necessarily safe in the same building as someone who feels so entitled to bully folks off of equipment. I feel like there maybe needs to be a policy about trainers bringing in their clients to train and being rude or rushing the everyday clients off of equipment. I can say this has never happened to me before at any other gym. Not to sure why it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been attempting to transfer this membership from Frisco to Plano for nearly 4 months, I have driven my car all the way to Frisco Texas and physically signed paperwork to completely cancel out the membership 100% and start from scratch to get away from the hostage situation of my membership being held hostage in Frisco; because when I went to Plano and asked for my membership to be transferred, Frisco put me in a what they call it āQā and I was not allowed to transfer my membership so I had to physically drive 20 miles to Frisco to completely physically cancel the membership so I could start over . This process cost me two hours of that day and the gas in the time and the effort and the energy to do something that they should be doing on their own since they get paid to do it ;ā¦even though I have physically driven my car to Frisco Texas to like school close the account and getting verification that the account was completely and that there was 100% zero account at planet fitness. I then went online and restarted a brand new account and chose Plano as my home Gym, somehow Frisco has transferred me back to their main office. I do not live in Frisco Iām nowhere near Frisco ā-itās 20 miles away from me but even though I signed up for a membership to be in the Plano Planet Fitness, here I am with my membership showing that I am active in Frisco Frisco Texas PF holds you hostage and they refuse to let you go. I will have to cancel the account AGAIN!!!!!!!! and 100% wait a month if not longer so it dies completely and physically go to Plano to open an account and not go to the gym in the meantime so that I can start over. I donāt know what else to doā¦.. this is the worst management I have ever experienced with any business in...
