I use to stop here at least four nights a week after work since it's right around the corner from my house. But they kept getting the orders wrong giving me somebody else's order and the quality of food is never consistent. So I stopped going there. One night I ordered a taco salad and an unsweetened iced tea. I waited a long time for the order and I remember thinking that the bag was Heavy when I took it from the drive-through. But they were rushing me and cars were behind me so I grabbed the bag and went home. I got home and had a bag with about 12 burritos and 6 taquitas, none of which I was interested in eating. I don't eat the shell on my taco salad.
They had actually charged my credit card $16 and some change. I didn't eat that night because I didn't want to get dressed and fo back out again, or wait in line for food again.
I called several times but no one answered the phone. The next day on my way home from work I stopped by and I talked to them about the situation. The lady said she remembered me and acknowledged giving me the wrong order. She said the manager was out and he was the only one that could refund my credit card she would tell her manager who would be in later that day and would refund my credit card. Months passed and several visits later I finally gave up! BTW, I did take the food back the next night!
I haven't gone there in months but last night I had a taste for the cheesecake treat. Went there ordered the cheesecake along with a Tostada, a side of grilled steak for Sasha, and an unsweetened iced tea. Yes, this was definitely going to be a cheat day....and boy was I looking forward to it!
Got home, fed Sasha, scraped the toppings of the Tostada into a bowl and enjoyed it.
Reached in the bag for my Cheesecake and it wasn't there! Only sauces were in the bag!!
I called immediately. No answer. Been calling all morning no answer. They finally got tired of the phone ringing and took it off the hook! Rude? You bet! Typical of the customer service at that store? Absolutely! Called the Customer Service number listed for their Farmers Branch Corporate Headquarters and it wasn't working! So frustrating! As you can tell I was really looking forward to my treat.
Well, I guess I'll add that to the $16+ dollars they already cheated me out of and call it a day. Clearly, I'll never see that money again either! Yes they charged me for the cheesecake. Didn't forget to get that money!

Read moreFirst off, the food at this location is very good. I rarely eat at Taco Bueno, so, I decided to place an online order so I could take my time looking at the menu and choose what I want. Placing the order was simple. I go to the drive thru to pick up my order, like I’ve done other times, and I was told, “Your order isn’t ready. It’ll be ready in five minutes. Come in and wait for it.” I told him no, I’ll just come around in five minutes. So I park and wait six minutes. I rejoin the now long line and told him I’m here to pick up my order. He says drive around but I here another voice say, “Tell him to come in.” He begins to repeat what he’s told as I pull forward. After arriving at the window, the manager tells the worker to tell me to come in. He says I have to come in. I calmly told him no. Then he asks me why. I told him, “Because I’ve picked up online orders in the drive thru before. When I placed the order the website didn’t state that I have to pick up the order inside.” The manager, with an irritated tone tells the worker, “Just tell him to pull up to the front.” I pulled up and waited 10 minutes for my food. After it was brought out, I checked the food and it was cold, items were missing, and all the extra sides I ordered (and paid for) were not in the bag. The drive thru was wrapped again so I just went home. I shouldn’t have been told/asked to pick up my order inside, which was sitting on the counter. Then to be asked why I can’t get out is nobody’s but mine. I know I sound like a Karen, but this was the first time I’ve ever had an experience like that. Read moreMy food was good and consistent as always. The service was a little lackluster. I'm one of those who carries my own reusable cup which they were fine with that. However I went to the restroom before my food came up and with few places to set my cup down in the restroom (yes I know it's gross to begin with, I should have trusted it would be fine on the counter) my cup fell into the sink with the mouthpiece of the cup straight into the drain grate! Sickening! As a quasi-germaphobe, the first thing through my mind was "the bathroom sink drain is one of the germiest places on Earth." So here's where the service was lacking, my food came up just as I walked out of the restroom and I asked the lady if she had some steaming hot water in the back and before I could say "that you could wet a napkin in for me" she said "no, I'm sorry we don't." Well, we all know that is not true. I know they won't wash people's cups for them but she didn't let me finish! I mentioned what had happened in the bathroom but she had already turned and started walking away and didn't bother to care.
