There are 4 separate and distinct ecosystems, with the first one you encounter being a student-made storm water ecological enhancement project. It feels like a small escape from campus as you step into the wetland. You are guaranteed to see great egrets and little blue herons.
They also have a preserved hard pine forest, which has been dwindling in Florida.
