I didn’t want my fried wings and French fries in a styrofoam box because the box sweats and the fries get soggy. I said just put them in one of those waxed paper bags like you put the crab Rangoon in or put them in a brown bag. The fries and wings can go together.
The woman could not comprehend what I was asking and said no they don’t do it that way. Then she said I will have to pay separately and it will be $1.00 more. I said for what? The cost of a brown bag or a waxed paper bag is cheaper than a styrofoam box so I’m saving you money. She said it’s not the money. We just won’t do it that way. (If they knew what they were doing and saw how the food arrives... all wet and soggy from steam they would reconsider.)
Is what I’m asking really any different than why they put the egg rolls, crab rangoon and other crispy items in the bags?
The rude woman says “we ready to go home” and was laughing ... she put me on hold forever and said she spoke to the manager about the box.. and cancelled order and hung up. I called back to make sure she was cancelling and not charging me. She answered the phone.. “Wok-n-roll pick up or delivery”. I said, “Oh, I thought you were ready to go home. I see you’re still taking orders. I just want to make sure you credit my money back.”
Ignorant... just plain ignorant that they couldn’t put my food in a bag and they wanted to charge be $1.00 for doing so. The snarky woman has no business dealing with the public & she gives terrible customer service. Many of the Chinese restaurants in this area seem to not be accommodating to simple customer requests, unlike the real Chinese restaurants we are used to up north in Chinese areas of large cities. That’s where the...
Read moreI don't usually review places but I am very unhappy with the way my situation was handled. I ordered online on their website and set the delivery time to 5:30 pm because I wouldn't be home in time to feed my family. Well, my food was delivered around 2:45 pm when the babysitter was there, and of course she took the food because she didn't know what was going on. So I called and explained the situation and was told it will be redelivered at 5:30 pm. I was happy with that, BUT then I get a call back from them saying they will not redeliver it and that they can give me a $3 credit towards my next order. I tried to explain that that is not acceptable and I was trying to have a fresh hot meal for my family, which was why I chose the 5:30 pm delivery option. The man then argued with me saying I should have sent the food back, which again I had to explain that I wasn't there it was the babysitter. He argued with me some more and I was obviously not going to get it fixed. So they have now lost a regular customer over $23 worth of food. I still can't believe that they made the mistake and were arguing with me like it was my fault! So now my family will have to reheat the food (which one of them is sweet n sour chicken and doesn't reheat well) because I've already paid for it. I am so...
Read moreTasteless, bland, cheap and stale. I have gone here off and on for the last five years, as i live right by it. I don't know what happened, but some time ago i noticed there was less and less flavor in all of the fried rice and all the lo-main. I hadn't eaten there for about 6 months, so i figured I'd give it another try. I got sweet and sour chicken dinner combo. Chicken was fine, obviously the sweet/sour sauce was fine. The rice tasted like nothing at all. Literally no taste. I ordered a side of shrimp lo mein, also no flavor what so ever. To add insult to injury, i decided to have the fortune cookies, just for some taste after that. The first of the two, was rubber. I knew when there was no crunch on the first bite there was a problem. I could not even pull it a part to get a bite. The second had a hint of a crunch and then rubbery. I got a piece off and promptly spit it out. How long does it take for fortune cookies to turn essentially stale, and rubbery? Too long. I used to love this place, it was a good 'go to'. But times must be really tough if they are trying to pass this stuff off as decent. The lights were not on and no ac, so i assume they are struggling. Either that or they are just cheap. PS the eggroll was tasteless as...
