Stop by today 3/09/2018 got a movie for a $1 I really wanted to see well when I got home I open the movie case to find no movie in it so I called the store and told them that there wasn't a movie in the case and the guy that pick up the phone lol and said well you can come back and pick out another movie no sorry about that just a lol and you can came pick up another movie well sorry TBgoods I didn't think it was to funny to have to go back up there I know it was just a doller but you shouldnt lol to your customers like o well sorry about your bad luck and I shouldn't have had to walk up to the cashier to get help in buying a dragon charm look on the cam and you will see how badly you guys have gotten 5 workers and no help wow step up cuz value pawn got you beat with about everything now and after how much money you guys made off of my family and friends in the years I think if I open my own pawn shop it would be way better on people cuz I sure the hell wouldn't smack a Giant bike someone pawn for $50 with a $1,999.00 tag and I can go on and on about how you guys made a killing on W. Johnson one of your customers who been paying on pawn tickets for years poor man paid well over $100s and $1000s to get his stuff out from you guys off of lil pawns loans and I know it shows on the computers and I just seen him pay $224 to get his stuff out on a $100 pawn loan with 2 years of $20 a month payment now do the math. That's a lot of money you got off of the poor man but I am sure you guys find it so damn funny so I will not be back and I will try to get the word out more about how you guys run cuz it is really sad but it's good people are picking up on you guys cuz your parking lot is sure dead now days go head and move to the other side of town and smack a new name like Pawn stars on your place and stop being big bank takein from lil bank you guys made a killing on people in town and that's how your a true star in town to many don't see how the owner sleeps at night having people pay more then thay pawn loan in monthly pawn ticket payments every month Fyi when you hit more then the loan at Value Pawn thay call and say you can come pick up your stuff for free when you hit the cost of the loan you got from them they don't keep making customers pay and pay and pay monthly payments for years intel someone can pick up thay stuff and the cost of TBgoods are out the door crazy and half of the staff are just nasty rude and lazy the other half of the staff just seem to feel bad to have to work for the money sucking place and seem to kind of feel bad for the customers that walk in looking for a small loan or if your buying the good workers will tell you if you come back on Sunday thay can give a lil better price on the over price stuff then and that's...

Let me first say that the shop itself as well as the management are outstanding. The employees on the other hand are an entirely different story. Case in point, I went to the shop about ten minutes before the shop closed to pawn some items. Chris the manager explained to me that the alarm system was automatically armed to turn on at 7:20 so I would have to come back the following day. No problem. Before I left I showed him everything I intended to pawn to make certain they were acceptable as I didn’t want to bring them back if they weren’t. He stated yes to everything. At the time one of the employees, a short, heavyset girl with bad skin was also standing behind the counter no more than two feet away listening. I was the only customer in the store. When I returned to the shop I was informed by the same short, heavy set girl that the manager was off because he was attending a U of FL game and asked if she could help me. Upon presenting the items I had brought in the day prior she in a very condescending way stated that they currently weren’t accepting this, this, this, etc Basically everything she heard the manager the day before tell me could be pawned. She was completely disrespectful and spoke and treated me as if I were a crackhead. Bare in mind that over the course of the past two months since first going there I’ve given the shop in upwards of 5k in business. I dont know whether it’s because she’s a lesbian and has a beef with men or what. All I do know is that she was so condescending, disrespectful, and rude that despite it being a great shop that I would have done quite a bit of business with in the future, I would never step foot in the shop again as a result of the way this individual treated me in the presence of more than a dozen people. I would strongly suggest that in the event you do decide to check the shop out that you have someone else take care of you rather than risking being disrespected by this obviously emotionally disturbed individual. **Note to owner: You should really take a good look at the value of this employee. Chris can verify the amount of business I’ve given the shop over the past couple of months. The employee in question just cost you 1000’s of dollars in future revenues as a direct result of being incapable of interacting with the public effectively. I certainly wouldn’t want her as an employee at our company. Best of luck...

They've actively LIED about their firearms.They tried to pass off a gun that had no box, heavy carbon fouling in the chamber, and scratches on the feed ramp (a clear sign of wear) as a brand new gun straight from the factory. Yeah right.

That, and I was looking to trade my S&W model 66-4 (4 inch) for their S&W 19-3 (4 inch, nickel finish). They wanted to offer only $400 for my 66-4 and wanted almost $700 for their 19. If you didn't know, the model 66 is basically just a stainless steel version of the model 19. So, they wanted $300 to swap firearms that, barring the finish, were almost the exact same gun. They both contradicted themselves and outright LIED in order to defend this highway-robbery of a price.

They contradicted themselves by suggesting both that I would get more money selling it privately (which by itself is true) AND that the gun was only worth $400 in private sales. The gun can't be worth more than $400 and $400 at the same time; that's a contradiction.

They suggested it was $400 by lying, outright LYING, that there were model 66s available on armslist for $400 right now. I really wish I had checked armlist on the spot because the Gainsville Fl section of armslist had only one model 66 available (a 66-2 with a 4 inch barrel, so almost the exact same gun) and it was listed at $600 not $400. They either didn't look at all (which would be lying because they said that they had, in fact, looked) or they saw the $600 price tag and knowingly said $400 anyways. I do, however, take some comfort that I said something to the effect of "Well if there are model 66s for $400 in this area then why am I wasting my time here?"

I know a fair bit about firearms and could therefore see their lies for what they were. If you too know your way around firearms then you probably don't shop here because of the outrageous prices, but if you don't then I'd highly recommend staying clear of it. They have proven themselves to be willing to lie on more than one occasion, so there's no question that they would take advantage of you.
