Fast friendly service and great food. Update: I am changing my my review from 5 stars down to two because they allow pets that are not service animals to be brought into the restaurant and sit at the tables. This is against the law and a health code violation and they will not tell people no because they are more worried about the backlash on social media than the health of their customers.

Response to owner: My review is based on my personal experience while eating at your restaurant. There was a couple with a dog sitting at the table with them (no service animal vest no leash) and they were feedi6it from there plate. It was very obvious that it was not a service animal of any kind and when I asked our waitress why they were allowing it she responded " I don't like it either but the owner will not let us say anything to them because someone did and it blew up on the internet " animals should not be allowed to be in any establishment especially one that serves food! If you had outside dining or a completely separate dining room for people with "service animals" that would be different as long as the wait staff washed their hands when going from one area to the other. I have done research on this issue and the way I read it they are NOT allowed in a establishment that serves food unless it is outside dining and wait staff are properly trained on safe sanitation practices. I have dogs and cats and I love them but when I go out to eat or anywhere else they stay home. If you want to allow customers to ignore and break the rules it's your restaurant I just won't be eating there again unless there are no animals allowed in...

Edited down to two stars: Have had three unacceptably slow and poor experiences within the past two years to the point where I'm not sure I'll be back. I kept giving another chance because it used to be awesome. All three times some items came out cold, some were soggy. Taste was off, hash browns were a pile of barely warm shredded potato, no crisp. Eggs were significantly overcooked or undercooked each time, gravy was strange. Just not the quality of years past here. Service was not friendly and warm like it used to be. Not sure what's caused the decline in quality, very sad to see as someone who has come here for two decades. I might give them another chance in a year or so to see if it's picked back up. Only consistent thing now is the prices which are good. Maybe under different owner or management?

Previous review: 4 stars Paul Bunyan breakfast - three eggs three bacon three sausage links hashbrowns with sausage biscuits and gravy - for under ten bucks. Typically friendly but slow service. My go-to breakfast-anytime place for years. Service can be slow if you catch them at a busier time, or an extremely slow time when the kitchen's not hoppin'. This place is timeless though. You go for quantity and price over quality, bc the kitchen can vary and food is not very consistent. Sometimes it's hot and fresh and awesome, and others it's sort of average, but always worth the cheap price I'll say. I'd love to see the management work with the kitchen to gain consistency they used to have...

I go there mostly for breakfast; however, I have had lunch and dinner there and it has always been very tasty. The customer service is wonderful. I called my order in because I was running late for work this morning and wanted breakfast and asked for a bowl of fruit. When I asked what was in the mixed fruit, the lady on the phone told me and in conversation I said that I didn't care much for the strawberries, but ok - I would like the mixed fruit anyway. Most places would give you a bowl of fruit just the way they served it. This lady (and unfortunately I did not get her name) made sure there were not any strawberries in the bowl). A huge THANK YOU. That's CUSTOMER SERVICE! My only gripe is that when I get my food to go they use Styrofoam containers and the food is so hot it tends to melt. I would like to see them use either another product or put a piece of foil or something inside the try to help with that. Otherwise, the food is delicious, the service is wonderful, and the prices are just right. I couldn't ask for anything more. Oh yeah, and they give Veteran...

The Clock is one of those old diners that has good "like home cooked" food. It is a fave of older people. Like everywhere else, prices are rising. But the service here is exceptional. The girls know a lot of the customers by name and hand out hugs. Very good breakfast and lunch, but it now closes at 4 pm. They offer senior citizen and military discounts. You can sit in a booth, table, or at the bar. When you need a good healthy full meal for an average $15, you will get a fresh soup or salad, an entree (excellent liver and onions), two vegetables, and biscuit or roll. There are lighter meal items like a half sandwich and soup in the $10 range. Try it if you haven't. A lovely Cafe with old school diner feel.

UPDATE: went to our favorite place. They were busy. Everyone is personable and great service. FRESH flowers! On every table. So grandbaby loves this place. We have been twice since my review a month ago. She finished her pancakes before I finished my meal. She loves taking pics of the clocks. Food of course was delicious. From June 2, 2021 -Haven't been in a while. Not disappointed. I loved the home fries, big chunks of fresh potatoes- not frozen. Everything was great. The Baabaa gave it 2 thumbs-up 👍 👍 and said we would come back. Jennifer gave us good customer service. The seating hostess was phenomenal. Good job Clock and thanks. Wear your MASK.

we've eaten there over the years, but it had been a while. We were getting our car worked on and decided to have breakfast. While we waited, we were sat down immediately. Still, has that old school diner feel with a counter, or you can sit at at tables/booth. Our waitress was super friendly. We always had a full cup of coffee, and it was actually pretty clean from what we remember it being there. Food was above average for that type of restaurant. The omelet was fluffy. I can say. I wish my biscuit was a little warmer, like it had been made
