Their status as an 'Authorized Service Center' and warranty for repair services are nothing but hollow pleasantries and empty promises. This place appears to be understaffed and mismanaged, you'll be lucky to find anyone employed here that is able to take accountability for any of the repair-work.
Essentially I brought in a Samsung tablet to get a broken screen replaced and got it back with lost functionality. They were quick to charge me $200 to shoddily install a $60 screen and then ghosted me after I inquired about their warranty for repair.
Please save your money (and time) and reach out to your device's manufacturer for repairs. I'm sure the pricing won't be as competitive but at least you won't regret handing it to this clown-car of a business.
Edit:
On July 17 I received an email letting me know the second screen ordered to attempt to repair my device had finally arrived, which was allegedly ordered on June 11. This is also over 5 weeks after my case was 'reopened' on June 21, without any communication that there were shipping delays even after directly asked over email on July 4.
I did call the main office, as you'll see they direct customers to on low reviews, and requested a refund. About a day later a caseworker called me to tell me that for the amount I paid for this repair, I needed to bring my device in for a warranty repair. When I explained that I sent the tablet to Samsung directly for repair and that I was not interested in further business with uBiF, the caseworker told me that in practice 2 warranty attempts are needed before they can request (and it is still within their discretion if they do) a refund on a service that was rendered. When I said I had already waited over 5 weeks for a warranty attempt, she simply said that parts availability and shipping is outside their control. She did not comment on their silence to my status requests during...
Read moreI brought my iPad in for what was supposed to be a simple battery replacement, and the experience has been nothing short of frustrating. From the start, communication and customer service were terrible. I was originally told the repair would be completed by Monday, only to have to call back myself and find out they didn’t even know when it would be ready. The Asurion call center had to follow up on my behalf, and they were told it might be Wednesday or even Friday.
Every phone call felt like pulling teeth — the technicians who answer the phone have no sense of customer service, and it’s like they’re doing you a favor just by giving basic information.
Then, after all that waiting, I finally get a call saying, “We’re going to have to buy it out.” When I asked why, the tech told me something about the home button being “really fragile.” I asked directly if that meant they broke it, and he admitted, “Well, yeah.” So instead of simply replacing the battery, they damaged my iPad and now I have to go through the hassle of replacement options — which I don’t even want, because I wanted to keep my iPad, the one with the home button!
To make it worse, the technician’s tone made it seem like he was about to make up an excuse before finally admitting the truth. The whole process has been unprofessional from start to finish — full of delays, poor communication, and no accountability.

Read moreI highly highly recommend this store and specific location to anyone needing electronics fixed or insured. I don’t even live near here, I have to drive 45 minutes to get here and there are other locations of UBreakiFix much closer to me, but this one is amazing and specifically Mark is THE BEST, so I drive all the way here. Mark is knowledgeable, so above and beyond helpful, it’s truly rare to find people these days who actually care so much and do their job so well. He has saved me literally hundreds of dollars, or more, and I ended up getting their home electronics insurance package through them (as opposed to through Verizon or AT&T) and I’m so happy I did, even though I was pretty reluctant to do it at first. Mark is never pushy but always looking out for your best interests and willing to explain how these products/policies can benefit you. It already has. Mark was right once again! They are fast, on top of everything- they call you back to follow up and don’t make you do all the legwork. Again, I just can’t recommend them more highly. The fact that I drive about 1.5 hours round trip when I have a store 10 minutes from my house should say it all. 10/10 recommend. Mark 20/10 recommend. If I kept a running tally of how much money he has saved me, at this point it’s probably 1k. I am a...
