DO NOT RECOMMEND. DONT GET FOOLED. THE OWNER IS RUDE. We came to this restaurant with a big hope due to reviews and the way the staff spoke to me. I called them to let them know that we have 1 hour window to finish our lunch and will they be able to prepare dosa or any quick food. The staff was courteous and asked to come as he will handle the situation. Things turned BAD when we entered. The owner came to us as we were small group of people and said that he cannot handle our food order and have to go through buffet present. He was RUDE the way he said. He was like, I cant handle your order, either you eat buffet or go. I asked him, “Is this how you handle your business and talk to customers?” To that the owner said, YES. i do handle it like this, eat the buffet or leave. It was embarrassing and felt bad to have thought good about this restaurant. The tip also goes to the owner which one of the staff confirmed though the staff was courteous. What we also got to know that he was taking ala carte order for local and not for us being tourist. I dont know why there was this kind of discrimination from the owner. The food quality was also pathetic except the dosa as it was being delivered hot. So overall i would rate 1 and absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND. This was the same experience for other tourist...

(You can try some breakfast items for the price of lunch). Read moreI feel like takeout or something would have been the way to go because the service here will annoy you. We walked in, and no one seated us. Instead the girl was on the phone and told us “shhh” so maharani could finish her call. Then she started taking care of her baby.
So we sat ourselves. No plates, so we had to go get all our own stuff.
A girl did come to ask if we wanted dosa, but then she didn’t give it to us on a plate. She dumped them on the plates we had so they could get soggy with the items. No dosa podi, no chutney.
It’s a super casual place. As long as you’re doing everything for yourself might as well sit at home and cook for yourself too.
Edit: Please note the response speaks for itself. That’s what I meant. They think they’re doing you a favor allowing you to spend your hard-earned money there. That’s the attitude. It is a non-service restaurant. Total lack of professionalism. She gave the gaslight a shot! I’m not sure how she can “refuse service” she just agreed she never provides 😀. It’s a non-service...
