10/2024: This an interesting place. Very friendly owner/server is always interested to talk about the food and, if not real busy will try to cook to order. That being said, almost every time I eat here I find myself surprised by the taste, preparation, or flavor of the food. Not bad just never what I expect to get when I order. Very few Chinese vegetables or spices used in most of the dishes. Of all the items I have tried, General Tso chicken probably comes out closest to what I expect. Egg rolls get four stars or better. They must have had a buffet in the past, but I have never seen it open. Nice secluded bar in the back and they asko operate a small pool hall next door with two regulation size tables. In the six months or so I've been in town the schedule has been pretty variable. At first they were sticking pretty close to the published hours except when they would take a few days or a week off. They closed before the big 'hurricane' of 2024 like almost every business in town, but have not reopened, even though they don't seem to have any visible damage. We love this restaurant! Friendly, clean, everyone is super friendly and the food is absolutely amazing! Karen, Priscilla and Jim are super accommodating. Everything on the menu is delicious! We had a California Roll and Pork Dumplings for an appetizer, followed by Moo Goo Gai Pan, Shrimp Egg Foo Young and Fried Donuts for dessert! Prices are very fair. My boyfriend is vegetarian and he was immediately drawn in by the restaurant having their vegetarian menu posted outside. They have many options to choose from in general. The food is great. It has large portions (to me) and you’ll probably have lunch for the next day. It’s a nice and quiet place. They also have billiards if you’re interested in that.
