We went to eat at Red Robin on Milwaukee in Boise and as we entered the door the host greeted us and our family. We had masks on as required, but our special special needs son did not have a mask on and the host (she) said that we could not go and sit at a table without him wearing a mask. Although a table was probably 25ft from where we were standing and then when you get to the table you don't have to wear a mask. Our special needs son has sensory issues and did not want to put a mask on or he would have had a meltdown. The host was very adamant about him wearing a mask and had no courtesy or understanding towards the situation of our son. According to the CDC policy for restaurants and other places, special needs kids are not required to wear masks as our son has no understanding about this very confusing time in our society. Our family and myself were very upset as the host would not budge and had no courtesy for our special needs child. I called for a manager to come up and he said that our son could enter the restaurant as long as he could 'hold' a mask in his hand... What?? Are you kidding me! Unbelievable!!! That made things even more confusing and no sense whatsoever. It was almost like, as long as they got their way in having him have a mask. As a dad of my child that has Autism and no voice, I was very upset and stood up for my son to make my voice heard about the ridiculous way all this was handled. We decided that it was not worth our while to stay and eat at Red Robin. I would hope that this review will reach out to the employee and manager and owners of Red Robin that they need to be trained in courtesy and understanding of special needs kids and families. You would hope during this terrible time when businesses are hurting for business that they be more than willing to understand the situation and go out of their way to be more...
Read moreI actually visited Eyemart Express. They were Amazing!! I Highly recommend them. The staff was knowledgeable & professional. I needed to get glasses as quickly as possible, d/t a serious vision problem. Even with a very busy office, I waited maybe 20 minutes. I was shown glasses that I liked, and were covered by my insurance. I ended up getting 2 pairs of glasses that I love and I paid a little over $18. Total for the portion not covered by my insurance. The 1st pair was finished in 16 minutes & the 2nd pair in 11 minutes!! ...
Read moreI love this store but don't visit as much as I would like! Pretty good selection of clothes, but it surprises me how things change. I remember when i was younger. My mother would bring myself my sister and then our kids. We'd come in, and there was racks and racks and racks and racks of dresses and clothing, shoes... there was no empty space in the store. Now it seems like there isn't much left? But there are still some good...
