Ordered through Uber eats and saw the "Chicken Sammy's 220" menu thought it must have been a new restaurant that had a pretty good looking menu, i only ordered 3 meals the simple crispy chx sandwich with all toppings on the side and the steak fries w/ a side of ranch and mayo (which was going to a separate home), the hangover crispy chx sandwich and the steak fries w/ a side of ranch, and the California chx sandwich w/ no shredded lettuce or onions and the steak fries w/ ranch, realized shortly after placing the order I realized the Cali chx was not marked to be the crispy patty so i tried to figure out through Uber how to change that and Uber said that i need to contact the restaurant directly, so i googled the phone but when i dialed it kept routing me to red robin which was super confusing, but on a whim i decided to let it go through the automated system and ask whoever picked up if they were the same company or something like that and when the girl who picked up answer i asked her and she started reading off the chx sandwiches that she had available to sell, which was kind of extensive so because i was in a hurry to update my order before the cooks prepped it i had to cut her off and clarify i wasn't trying to place an order and i was just confirming that red robin had the sister company of Chx Sammy's and that i was calling the right place, she seemed irritated by this and gave me a short yes, so then i proceed to ask if she had an uber was order under my name and she confirmed she did and i asked if it was too late to change the Cali Chx to a crispy patty instead of the grilled since its not an additional charge and she said yes we can change it still, and then she confirmed 3 more times that all the sandwiches were meant to crispy before we hung up, i thanked her for her help and then my order arrived pretty much right when it said it was going to be, i read the tickets on each meal and sent the simple crispy chx meal with the friend i had bought it for, but it wasn't until they were too far gone that i realized i had her meal even though the tickets said otherwise, which was beyond disappointing because the Cali chx was supposed to be mine which is more expensive than the simple because it has the gourmet toppings, so when i called my friend to see if she could come back she said she had already eaten half the sandwich but then she told me they had messed up the order still even after everything because she had been with me through the whole ordering process, the sandwich still had the grilled chx patty and the onions and shredded lettuce and they forgot her side of ranch, but then i informed her that for some reason they had put all three ranch cups in with the simple chx. I have always loved red robin but i never go to to specifically this location because I've never successfully gotten 100% the correct order and it always seems packed, honestly the Parkcenter location is where i would...
Read moreMe and my wife love red Robin, we got a gift certificate so we came here for lunch today, when we walked in the host said we can sit in the bar area, we said ok, she didn't tell us to sit at the bar, recovering alcoholic we turned around and asked the host for something else, she stopped and was like oh ya I guess we have a table over here, then she sat us at a table, we sat at this table for 15 minutes while our server was right next to us at a table talking with the customer, didn't care to acknowledge us just stood there and talked to them, I understand good customer service for guests but to have us sit there for 15 mins before she asked us for our drinks, we were really thirsty. Then we placed our food order and it took like 30 mins to get our food and people that came in after us got their food before we did. However our food was good as it always is. The server never stopped to ask us how our food was or if we needed drink refills. She was on her phone the entire time texting walking back and forth on the floor. I had to get another guys attention to get a soda refill that took 10 mins to refill then he refills it with a ton of ice so again it's gone super quick. Me and my wife both ordered bottomless fries but with the server never checking on us we never got bottomless fries. The restaurant wasn't even that busy. So we were fed up at this point so we paid for our food. Then immediately the server saw we paid so she went and checked and proceeded to glare at us angrily for her tip. If she wanted a better tip then she should have refilled our fries or drinks and not play on her phone the whole time, to glare at a guest is very rude. We were fed up at this point so we left. We love the food at red Robin and will be back due to the food being good. I definitely will ask to sit in a different area though as I do not want this...
Read moreWow. I have not felt this bad after eating a good meal in years. The service was good Crystal did an efficient and admirable job as server. 5 stars. Everything was great until it was time to get to the check. I had an email saying to come in for my free birthday burger. Basically the reason I came in. How am I to be expected to know that my phone number was not fully registered? So Nate, the manager this evening who welcomed us to our table, took our drink orders and CHECKED MY ID TO VERIFY MY AGE, comes to the table after we could not get my phone number to work and he starts telling me that if I came back next year it wouldn't work unless I called some damn tech support number to get them to fix my stupid club membership. I kept telling him, "ok, yeah, fine." And he kept talking. Telling me stuff I did not need to know or want to hear about the rewards program. Telling me how corporate this and policy that because there had been sooo much fraud in the program. My anger was growing by the moment. I went from having a nice birthday dinner with my son to being quietly judged and carefully insulted. Hey maybe he was just having a bad night, but I did not come in looking for one. I spoke to him quietly, because no I did not want to get angry, in public, in front of my child, while celebrating my birthday. I expressed that my displeasure was only with him and how he treated me in the situation. And like many young men who really do not care about their jobs or customers he kept trying to fall back to "that's just the policy" and lines about rules and procedures. If that's how you are going to treat your customers you may as well change your logo to a big yellow M. Except I've never felt this bad coming out of...
