Noorani Halal Meat Grocery — Attraction in Garden Grove

I purchased several biscuits (including Lemon Sandwich and Soooper) from this store, and all of them were expired. When I called to inform them that expired biscuits were still on their shelves, instead of accepting responsibility and addressing the issue, the person I spoke with became defensive.

They argued that because we are still in the month of August, the products were not expired — despite the fact that the biscuits smelled and tasted stale. I made it clear I wasn’t calling to argue, only to ensure they removed the expired products from the shelves to protect customers.

Instead, the response I kept getting was, “Come get your money back.” I told them I didn’t care about a refund — they could keep the money — but I would be reporting the matter to the health department.

I would strongly advise anyone shopping at this store to check the expiration date on all products...

Go to this place if you want to deal with a psychopathic maniac of an employee. I needed halal chicken, so went there today to check it out for the first time. That one worker there shut down the meat counter (very small meat counter, meats didn't look fresh) as i was browsing through this tiny store. This was an hour and 16 minutes (7:44 pm) before closing time of 9 pm. He said he needs to close at 8 for cleaning, and it was not even 8 then. It is a small grocery store store, where you will get Pakistani, Indian and Bangladeshi groceries. Though its a small grocery store, but they sell halal meat. You will get Fresh goat, baby goat, chicken etc. Some items are cheaper than other Indian groceries. Staffs are very good and polite.
