Little Saigon Inn — Hotel in Garden Grove

I stay in hotels at least 1-2 weeks a month for business and I've had my fair share of experiences at a ton of them. I was SOOO pleasantly surprised at this motel. The outside looks like it's a 2 star place, but the rooms are beautiful!! Newly remodeled with gorgeous hardwood floors & 20x20 porcelain tiles in the bathroom. The beds are super comfortable. My only complaint is they're only 6 or 7 channels available on the TV. That being said, the rooms come with a good sized mini-fridge that's nice & clean. The A/C blows nice & cold, there's a soap dispenser by the bathroom sink along with a blow dryer... My favorite thing of all is the staff. The night manager, Hui is so helpful. He's no more than 22, but definitely is a nice young man. In a ton of hotels, I haven't been able to use just a photo of my ID(since my wallet was stolen a few weeks back). Hotel 39 in Westminster, the Dixie in Anaheim along with every Motel 6 refuses to accept a photo. Another great thing, I tend to extend my trip on the fly(often because I'm too tired to check out)and places like the Beach Side Inn in Anaheim charge an early check-in fee on top of the room charge!!!!?!? Plus they make you put another $100 cash deposit down. Little Saigon Inn DOES NOT require a cash deposit... Not to mention , places like Beach Side Inn among other crappy places will blame you for things you didn't do(for instance, last time they blamed us for removing the window screen, ridiculous!) In addition, I spent over 3 hours picking up all the dog s**t in the dog run area. It literally looked like it had never been done, there were hundreds of pieces of doggy poopoo. And I didn't even get a thank you from a single staff member!! All in all, ill definitely be staying...

It's all about location. Very stragically located in Little Saigon (California, USA). Within walking distance to lots of Vietnamese restaurants and grocery stores. Two stories high with staircases at every corners. Spacious room with two queen size beds. Refrigerator is in the room. Large size television. Bathroom has curve curtain, a plus. Body wash and shampoo are mounted on bathtub wall. No messy bath soap. Shower water pressure is strong. Yet toilet water pressure is just average household level. Friendly staff (Bình) and helpfully with answer to question on surrounded dining places. Ample parking spaces for compact and larger...

The room is clean and airy but the service here is really bad! We were drying the clothes, only 10 minutes later we found out the clothes inside were taken out! instead, the clothes of another person! I met the staff and asked about this incident and only received answers like: "ok I know" "oh so?" It was really bad about this, when we were drying clothes and the latecomers had to wait but the latecomers took our clothes out instead of waiting! I will never return to such a place that lacks respect and...
