Very nice, price was what they gave me online. Everyone super nice. Would of loved to give them a five stars, as one of the better groups of sales people I dealt with. I went to several different dealers and they were one of the friendliest and least pressuring of the bunch. But they did do a few things that seemed a little dishonest so had to knock off a star. First was salesman said the trim level I choose did not qualify for the special financing. I said "I though i saw that it did". He said he will check, but came back saying no. I checked another dealer, and it did. Had to show him. He then apologized and said he was mistaken he was given the wrong information. Next loan amount first monthly payment they offered me was almost as much as the max payment I was approved for on a preapproval letter I had gotten from nissan. And way higher then I estimated for this car. They had added some extras. Told to remove and come back showing the amount I will owe as well as payment. Came back amount I would owe was right. But payment showed 48 dollars a month higher than what it did on the calculator i was using. They denied it, saying it is just a computer they just put figures in, and it gives them the payment amount. Had to show him my calculator. He said, "Is that what you are willing to pay" I said yes. He ran out of room and came back with the same amount I had on my calculator. He said they entered discount on top but forgot to enter it on bottom of form. Apologized again. (I think it was, so they could sneak in some extra charges.) Next was Finance. He had me sign something on a aftermarket service/warranty. I said, I do not want any warranty or service contract. I do not need to sign it, as I do not have one and if there is one remove it. He said it was for the free windshield and fabric protection. So I signed. Then they wanted me to waive etching on the catalytic converter. I wanted that. He said on back order, that they also don't do that, but they give you a theft warranty for one year. 3 grand if stolen. That seemed ok. So, I signed it. Next was the purchase contract. They do it on a screen. So, I did not review closely, so guess what? I had taxes entered higher and the amounted owed on my trade in higher on my calculator, then they did by about 400 dollars. Amount financed looked close to my estimate, so I did not look at all the lines. When, I got home and checked the flash drive they gave me. They snuck in a $385 warranty contract. So I had to go back. They said they will send a check to finance company for 385. Been a week nothing to the finance company, yet. Otherwise, this was a wonderful dealer to work with. Just be prepared, they are nice and charming. But they want to get every penny they can from you. So double check and verify everything they tell you. It might not be true or accurate. Also, state law requires dealers to etch your catalytic converter. Unless customer declines it. They never said anything about that, but the free theft insurance was a nice, trade off for it.. So get the price ahead of time. Check your credit. Check value of trade in. Their final offer on my trade-in was lower than one. But higher than four others, I had received and was an amount I thought was fair. Even though it is on a screen, take your time and...
Read moreBrought my truck in the morning to get serviced and have an electronics issue fixed. Turned into me wasting an entire day, waiting for the aforementioned work to be done, only to leave in the late afternoon with nothing (not even the service being done). Where to start.
I live in San Bernardino County and only bought this truck from this dealer because they had it inthe right specs I wanted. Prior to leaving, I called the dealership from my driveway and spoke with a woman and informed her I needed to bring my truck in for service (its first oil change). She asked me the mileage and informed her. I also asked her if it was possible to have the service done at a Chevy dealership that was local to me (Garden Grove is a good distance away if you didnt know). However, she informed me that due to my plan, I would have to have all services performed at Simpson Chevrolet only. It wasn’t until later when I grabbed my truck back that I was informed that I could have taken the truck to any Chevy dealership as the first* oil change was always free per a service agent there. This would’ve saved me from literally losing/wasting a day of my life waiting for them to do absolutely nothing to my truck.
After dropping the truck off at 10:10am, I kindly asked the service agent if there was any local coffee shop or spot he would recommend. I looked it up myself and told him I’ll wait there down the street until the truck was finished, declining the complimentary uber ride. He informed me “the service would be fast, but the electronic issue might take all day.” I agreed and told him I’ll standby. He told me he would text me with updates (He didn’t give me any updates until I texted him). Fast forward to 5pm, I texted the agent asking for am update. He replied a good time later saying it should be ready “TMRW”. What the hell?? I grabbed an Uber back to the dealership and asked what happened. He thought I was gone for the day and left. Does that mean put off the work until tomorrow just because the owner left? What the hell is wrong with this picture. I told him I needed my truck and that I basically called off work to be there. I asked tgem to bring my truck around so I can go home. ETA to my house: 7:07pm. Thank you Garden Grove Chevrolet.
Conclusion: I bought my truck from this dealership. The dealership is about 1.5 hours way from my home. Although my service plan is with them, this will be the last time I pay this incompetent group of peope a visit. I can’t afford the time necessary. You cannot reimburse my time wasted waiting on poor work ethic and ill-informed staff. Clearly a very disappointing and upsetting experience from...

I took my truck to this dealership with an appointment at 11 am on March 26 2024 because my horn wasn't working.
The advisor Huu Vuong came to make car and plug his scanner in to my car. After a few minutes, we went to his desk and he told me that it was a problem with my ABS system. He told me that I should get the ABS system diagnose. I asked him about the time it will take for my car to be fix. Mr Vuu told me that it will take one day to be diagnose. The next day March 27 2024 I called the dealership at 12 pm because I didn't hear anything from the advisor Vuu. When I spoke with Mr Vuu said that the diagnose wasn't ready because they had many appointments ahead of me. He said that we will call me later to let me know. It was 4 pm and the advisor Vuu didn't called me. So I decided to go and get my car because I need it for the following day. After spoke with the service manager Seth Simson about the situation I decided to pay for the horn only $845 for parts and labor. I didn't want to fix the ABS system because it was too expensive.
The service manager Seth Simson say that the horn was out completely and another piece that made the horn work was damaged. It will take a little more than a week to get the parts. I made a payment of $408 .07 for the parts . The next day I took my car to another mechanic to get a diagnose of the horn and ABS system. They fixed the car in less than one hour. The only problem with the horn was a loose cable and a speaker.
I pay $100 for parts and labor for the horn. The ABS system didn't have any problem either. THIS DEALERSHIP IS STEALING FROM CUSTOMERS CHARGING FOR SERVICES AND PARTS NO NEED IT. I went back to talk to the service manager Seth Simson to show him that my car horn was fixed and that I only paid $100. THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH THE HORN WAS A LOOSE CABLE NOTHING ELSE.
I asked the service manager Seth for a full refund but he denied. He only gave me 1/2 of what I paid He said that I still need to pay part of diagnose. I told him that the diagnose was completely made up. He still didn't want to refund the whole amount. I went to look for the general manager but he wasn't there. I spoke with another employe about the issue and he agreed that I should be able to get the whole payment refund to me. He said under the table that the advisor makes commission for everything that they fixed. So I think the corruption star from the service advisor and the technicians. Don't go there...
