Tastea Garden Grove (Westminster) — Restaurant in Garden Grove

Love coming to this Tastea as it is usually a debate between this one and and the Rowland Heights Tastea. When I come here though, it is usually a great experience as, although the line is long half the time, the employees here work quickly and with ease. I have never had a bad experience here before, and I believe I never will as they are always so nice and helpful.

This Tastea is located in a plaza on Westminster Ave, a relatively close to Brookhurst. It sits in a neighboring plaza from 99 Ranch. It can be hard to miss from traffic as it is tucked away into the corner of the plaza, but nothing that Google Maps or Waze can't help with. The inside of the store is really small, with no tables and just a bench lined up against the wall for people waiting for their drinks. There is a table outside with a couple of chairs for people who are willing to wait outside.

The drinks and food here are phenomenal and nicely made. The drinks range from smoothies, artisanal tea drinks with fruity flavor options, and of course milk teas. The food here is just snacks, which is Garlic Fries, Popcorn Chicken, and Popcorn Shrimp. I have tried almost everything in this boba chain and I can say that no of it disappoints. They also came out recently with a Regular Milk Tea drink that I am a little bit addicted to. It is a bit thicker than the Green Milk Tea, but not a deal breaker.

Overall, I definitely recommend coming here if you want to try something new or just love...

For around $16 dollars I can get two 20oz drinks, fries, and chicken. Perfect. The fries and chicken are the perfect portion for a party of two since they're shareable.

My favorite beverage so far is the Strawberry Swinger, which is basically a strawberry lemonade. I've tried the starburst flavored drink and it's just too sweet. The ooh la la has a very strong coconut flavor, so if you're a fan of coconut it's ideal for you.

Mmmmm the fries and chicken are delicious. Each food item comes with one dipping sauce; ranch, ketchup, or weak sauce (which is like sweet and sour sauce). Additional sauces are $0.25. I'm not sure what kind of seasoning is on the fries, but it's very addicting. The popcorn chicken is very crispy, but still moist. Order the chicken with the weak sauce, it tastes amazing!

Parking might be tough since it's a very busy plaza. So far I haven't encountered too long of a wait. I typically expect about a 5min wait to order when I get there after 8pm. If you order food, give yourself an extra 10mins.

Overall it's a great place for a refreshing drink, delicious popcorn chicken, and addicting...

"Everytime I want a drink I always go to Tastea, HEY! Tasteaaa HEY!" This may not be true, but if I'm around the area Tastea is the perfect place to satisfy my boba cravings. The large is a pretty good deal and the green boba isn't too bad.

I've always wanted to come here because of the song on youtube by those Korean people but I never did even though I'm in Anaheim a lot. The location is so convenient near the 22! It is pretty accessible from anywhere around the OC. The place is modern, hip, filled with UCI people and various Asian teenagers, and I've usually been lucky and beat the random rushes of people who go there.

I've had the milk tea, warm milk tea, some fruit tea with boba and they were all pretty good. Shaved ice was meh, but it was reasonably priced like everything else they had. It's not the best boba I've ever had (or the amazing party that is on the youtube video), but it's good and the store is in a good location, making Tastea the perfect compliment...
