My first retail disappointment in the new year. I placed an online order on 1/1. Was told it would be ready for pickup on 1/5 at 11 a.m. On 1/6, I get a text stating the location is closed and that "I can deliver your online order to your door free of charge". I text back my mailing address only to be told "We cannot deliver to a P O Box" (in 2025, imagine that!). The next audacious statement is asks if I'm able to pick up in Anaheim instead. I picked Garden Grove for a reason...So incredibly frustrating that something so simple has become painfully difficult for eco now. I'm still without what I paid for and a seeming unwillingness to figure it out. This is not my fault but the only option they offer - from a service standpoint is - "we'll just cancel & refund your order". Sure. And I'll write this review and find a service-oriented business that updates their page to reflect when their open/closed AND that puts forth sufficient effort to honor their word. (sigh)
Update: Management seems to believe that a $5 credit for their faux pas is hush money and that if I don’t reconsider my review of the absolute truth, they’ll cancel my order. Considering I don’t take too kindly to bribes, hush money, or threats - they have been advised to cancel my order and I will take my ethical, professional, and high moral ground behavior elsewhere.
