Vivi Bubble Tea — Restaurant in Garland

Worst bubble tea place I’ve ever been to. Walked in and the couches and seating were stacked messily in front of the bathroom so no one could get to it. There was a big group of people waiting in front of the door as customers were trying to get in and staff did not tell them to move from the door. Extremely understaffed. One person was just in the back, one making drinks, and the other was taking orders. While the workers were kind, the drinks were horrible. I do not blame the workers at all because they are probably just using recipe card. I got a jelly coffee bubble milk tea in a large. I’m pretty sure the medium and large are the same size as the medium is shorter and wide while the large is tall and very narrow. The boba was extremely over cooked and mushy, they were also microscopic. The tea was a watery mess even though I was given about 4 ice cubes. And yes, I shook it very well before drinking, although it was shaken very thoroughly before I received it. The jelly was a weird texture and had little coffee flavor. Not to mention, the drink was $6. I tried a macaron which was not bad except it was freezer burnt. I ordered ahead of people that got their drinks before me. I also waited a good 20 mins before actually getting the drink. The two seats they had were located at a dirty counter by the window and the light fixtures were very dusty. I went back a second time and ordered the same thing as the last time an Oreo Cream Brulee and this time it was not good at all I was really disappointed because I thought it was going to be made creamy and flavorful like the first time but I guess it depends on who makes it. The first time I had it a younger African American girl made it and it was so good I mean it was nice and creamy with lots of flavor and she gave me a lot of strawberry boba just like I asked. I mean it tasted just like an Oreo Cream Brulee it was so good I went back a second time but little did I know it was going to be made differently. I mean it tasted like pure milk with no flavor and I had to ask for more strawberry boba and she acted like she was scared to add them she was like I already put some in there I'm like well I'm asking you to put more in there and then she puts like 6 more in there I'm like wow seriously. Then when she handed it to me it still had lots of ice in it and it was straight milk with no flavor needless to say I went home pour it down the drain and rinsed the strawberry boba off and just ate those, on this day it was a young Asian girl or Chinese. I just know if I ever go back and I see her I'm running. You would think for 6 dollars and some change it would be done the right way or how you like...

RUDE Workers!!! First visit: Seven workers, all teenagers, five of them hanging out in the ropes off section on their phones and only two working with a lobby full of customers. Second visit: Two workers, one cashier, one drink maker who kept going back to check her phone while making drinks, again lobby full of customers. Third visit: three workers, two of them were working diligently taking care of customer drink orders, the other one with PURPLE HAIR was on her phone in the back. After my drinks were made and waiting to be given to me, she was standing talking to her friends at the counter telling them she was “bored and mad she had to stay until 8pm.” When I asked her if She could hand me my drinks, she got an attitude that I interrupted her conversation and gave them to me. I said thank you and she just glared at me. The drinks at Vivi are great, but the staff full of teenagers is not. They have no customer service skills and are not there to work, but to socialize with their friends who are not paying customers. I will not be returning and I will contact the owners of the establishment to let them know how their business and money is being wasted by disrespectful, rude, and...
