New Truong Nguyen Market — Attraction in Garland

This Vietnamese grocery store is a good place to shop for common Vietnamese/Asian products. The selection is typical of a Vietnamese market. At the time of this post it does not offer grass fed or wild caught meats. It does not have the selection of larger stores but for what it does have, pricing is competitive. Korean, Chinese and Japanese markets are different so keep an open mind by not comparing it to other Asian grocery stores and you will enjoy shopping here. If comparing the same or similar available products with other Vietnamese grocery stores this store usually has better prices, but that could change from the time of this post as many things do. Service is excellent! I frequent this store for that reason. What I don't find here I go elsewhere but always leave this store satisfied with prices...

Went in just to look, they had a good section of oriental veggies and to my surprise a section of different kinds of eggs. Everything from quail to duck eggs and even a few ostrich eggs. Walking to the back they had huge tanks of live fish, crabs and even a tank with live shrimp. I was in oriental store heaven. Their isles had tons of things I was unfamiliar with and many things I recognized but had never tried. This store it's my favorite store but today9/16/25 I went and I saw ground pork was on sale and one lady in front of me get more than 20 lb, it said 10 lb limit,, when it's my turn the butcher said it's no more that is broken my heart,, one lady got 20 lb and I got anything I think that the store owner need to consideration to have meeting with your coworker,, I consider is racist!!and Unfair!!! And I returned everything I got in my cart and I went different store I didn't think they treat me right!! I hope in the future they can treat customer...
