Gamerās Alley informed me that Gamerās EMT preformed Nintendo Switch repairs, after I inquired if they knew anywhere locally I could take it, as I already knew my son would drive me insane about āgetting it backā if it had to be shipped to Nintendo for repair; so enthusiastically, I googled Gamerās EMT (to get their number so I could call them) but up under where Google lists their information, I seen they had a 2.5 customer rating (on Yelp) and I thought hmmm, do I really want to take it there (as the console also has digital games installed in it that cannot be transferred, if all doesnāt end well) but then it did not make sense that Gamerās Alley suggested this shop, if they were really that bad (in addition to Googleās conflicting higher rating) so I just went ahead and called, and took it to Gamerās EMT (about a week later due to being unsure about the place) ā anyways, to my surprise they were great! I got, what I believe was a good price, it was literally fixed the NEXT DAY, it works like new again, and both the two guys my daughter (whom picked it up) and I spoke to and/or dealt with, was prompt & cordial, although one of the guys (I think his name was Mike) kinda threw me for a loop when he called the next day to tell me it was already-ready (in which I was not expecting) so I had asked if I could pick it up on Friday, and he told me NO, in which only confused me more (especially since I was unsure due to Yelpās 2.5 rating) so in not knowing what to say, I asked if I needed to come pick it up today or something, but then he explained he was joking, in which isnāt a bad thing, especially with me, as I am seriously a serious personality type š āBTW, I NEVER write reviews on here, but I felt the need given the Yelp rating, in which left me skeptical, although I do realize at the same time, I do not know other peopleās...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI dont normally post reviews, but I really wanted to share my experience. I purchased a Switch for my 6 year old for Christmas and within 2 weeks it would not respond or charge. I contacted Ninetindo and got a super sketchy response from their "support team" stating I would have to pay 200$ immediately and send in the Switch; if further repair was needed I would also need to send more money. They said it would take at the very least a month and if I missed any calls they would sent it back without repairing and pocket the cash. Thankfully, I decided against it. I assumed my 6 or 4 year old had at some point jammed the wrong charger into the port bending the prongs. Dropped off the Switch where suspicions were confirmed and within 2 weeks it works good as new. They replaced the port and it has no trouble charging now. They're prices are extremely reasonable too. Works good as new šš...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTook my sons ps5 in to fix the hdmi port. First off he wasnāt exactly welcoming nor friendly as other reviewers state. I stood there up front practically being ignored while other customers that just walked in were welcomed and helped quickly. He finally got around to speaking to me and assured me that the system would be fixed in a timely manner. He finally called me several days later to let me know it was fixed. Itās been maybe 4-5 months and Iām having to take it to be fixed again. The repair guy I took it to showed me where it was corroding because of sloppy work and explained how he wasnāt sure how it held up this long. The ps5 had only been disconnected once since having it repaired the first time and it wasnāt done roughly or forcefully. So if heās fixing your systems in 30 minutes or less I can assure you it isnāt being done correctly. Total waste of...
